Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City is hiring for an Oncology Clinic Nurse for their Oncology Clinic. This position is part of a rapidly growing program and will assist with care coordination, research studies, provide patient and family education, scheduling, triage, assist with procedures, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary innovative care team committed to innovation and improving patient outcomes. This is a high volume fast-paced Magnet designated clinic. This clinic is INCP and QOPI Certified.
HOURS: Monday - Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
May be asked to float to other locations: Overland Park, North Kansas City, Lees Summit

Responsibilities:
- Phone Triage
- Schedules emergent-need appointments.

- Regularly meets with other disciplines to share best practices on care treatments.
- Care for patients with a long-term treatment process.

Our Colorectal Surgery Team is seeking a RN to join their team! You will primarily be responsible for phone triage but will eventually assist in coordinating patient care including: patient teaching, discharging, and care planning.
In clinic setting, provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices. Responsible for telephone triage, patient flow, and coordination of patient care. Schedules emergent need patient appointments, identifies learning needs for patients and families, provide advice and recommendations, inserts intravenous access with medication administration and duties as assigned based on clinic need. Delegates tasks to clinical staff in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice. Responsible for managing expired samples. Able to work in a team atmosphere as well as autonomously. Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor at all times.
