We’re hiring a Volleyball Program Coordinator to work closely with Operations Director, our volleyball expert and mentor, to develop, expand, and eventually help lead our volleyball programming. About the Role
This is a hybrid role that combines:
- Daytime PE instruction during the school year
- Volleyball program development and leadership across after-school classes, camps, leagues, and future club programming
You’ll begin by learning Legarza’s philosophies, systems, and teaching methods while coaching and supporting existing programs. Over time, you’ll take on increasing ownership of volleyball curriculum, coach development, scheduling, and long-term program strategy.

What You’ll Do
Program Leadership & Development
- Help lead and expand Legarza’s volleyball camps, classes, and leagues
- Support the development of a club volleyball program from the ground up

- Collaborate closely with our Ops Director on vision, execution, and growth strategy
Coaching & Instruction
- Coach after-school volleyball classes, camps, and leagues

Operations & Growth

What You'll Do
- Collaborate effectively and appropriately with teachers, administration, parents and consultants/specialists, i.e. OT, mental health services, etc. Following up with Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ) and Desired Results Developmental Profile (DRDP) concerns when necessary.
- Collaborate on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or 504 plans with teachers, parents, and other specialists. Develop, implement, and train paraprofessionals on Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
- Provide one-on-one support with children in the classroom to meet specific developmental goals outlined in IEPs, and develop data tracking processes to track ongoing progress towards goals.
- Coach teachers and paraprofessionals and model developmentally appropriate classroom activities to support children with suspected or identified special needs. (expanding in SY 2025-2026 PBC coaches)
- Documentation and maintenance of confidential child files including ongoing tracking and documentation of interventions, assessments, family, teacher and administration communication.
- Support and collaborate with teachers, parents/caregivers, and Site Supervisor to identify and access resources (instructional materials, adaptive equipment, etc.) to help children flourish in classrooms.
- Meet with parents/ caregivers, in conjunction with teaching staff and paraprofessionals, to interpret ASQ's, parent conferences, IEP meetings, and assessments when needed.
- Provide referrals, advocate, and serve as liaison for additional family services, such as support for families with special needs, etc.
- Lead occasional parent/ caregiver and staff training on child development, special education and early intervention topics. Expanding in SY 2 PPP, Sparkler Developmental Playgroups)
- Collaborate with the Family Support Team to facilitate Center on the Social Emotional Foundations for Early Learning (CSEFEL) meetings and work with teachers to implement CSEFEL strategies in classrooms, including visual schedules and expectations.
Qualifications
You have a solid mix of the following knowledge, ability, skills and experience:
- B. A. degree in Child Development, Mental Health, Special Education or related fields
- At least 2 years of experience working with preschool age children with a focus on children with special needs.
- Possesses California Child Development permit or 12 qualifying units in Early Childhood Education

Responsibilities: As a Consulting Medical Staff Coordinator, your duties will include but are not limited to: 1.
Managing all aspects of medical staff services, including credentialing, privileging, and reappointment processes for physicians and allied health professionals.

Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to medical staff governance, credentialing, and privileging.
3.
Serving as a liaison between the medical staff, administration, and other departments to facilitate communication and coordination.

Providing consultative support to the medical staff leadership and committees, including preparation and follow-up for meetings, agenda development, and maintaining accurate and complete records.
5.
Implementing and maintaining credentialing systems, databases, and processes to ensure accurate, up-to-date information.

Identifying opportunities for improvement in medical staff services processes and working collaboratively with other team members to implement effective solutions.

Providing education and training to medical staff and other personnel on credentialing processes, medical staff governance, and related topics.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Consulting Medical Staff Coordinator position will have the following qualifications: 1.
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, nursing, or a related field.
Advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of five years of experience in medical staff services, credentialing, or a related field in the healthcare industry.
3.
Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Medical Staff Coordinator (CMSC) preferred.
4.
In-depth knowledge of medical staff services, credentialing processes, and related laws, regulations, and standards.
5.
Proficiency with credentialing systems, databases, and other related technology.
6.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals and groups.
