Duties & Responsibilities
The employee will perform the following tasks:
๏ง Assist or solely escort identified personnel while inside customerโs-controlled space at all facilities
๏ง Most of the escorting will occur indoors (climate-controlled environments).
๏ง Occasionally escorting may occur on rooftops, in parking garages, and/or near building systems environments.
๏ง Escorting requires maintaining continuous visual supervision of individuals and continuous awareness of their actions and status.
๏ง Escort shall immediately notify the onsite Protective Security Officers (PSO) or Central Alarm Station (CAS) of any actual or suspected security incidents or infractions as defined in Management Directive 12.1, safety hazards, injuries, damage/destruction of government property, or any deviation from established NRC safety and security policies; hereby referred to as โsafety/security incidents.โ
๏ง Escort shall immediately assume escorting duties of any individual found to be without proper access credentials and call for either a PSO or available escort to retrieve the individual.
๏ง Escort will also be required to deliver and collect documents bins from office floors and deliver them to the specified storage area and/or deliver them to the loading dock for commercial disposal.
