This individual will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day finance functions, acting as a strategic partner to the CFO. Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Forecasting

  • Lead the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial planning across multiple business units.

  • Partner with business leaders to understand key assumptions, risks, and opportunities impacting financial performance.


Management Reporting & Performance Analysis

  • Produce timely and accurate monthly and quarterly management reporting, including variance analysis versus budget, forecast, and prior periods.
  • Analyze profitability by brand, channel, customer segment, and product line to support pricing, margin improvement, and investment decisions.
  • Create and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and executive-level reporting to enhance visibility into operational and financial performance.


Strategic & Operational Support

  • Serve as a trusted thought partner to the CFO and executive team on strategic initiatives, cost optimization efforts, and growth opportunities.
  • Support business case development for capital investments, new initiatives, and potential acquisitions or integrations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Accounting to align financial plans with operational execution.


Systems, Process & Data Enhancement

  • Partner closely with Accounting on actuals, close timelines, and data integrity to ensure consistency between FP&A and financial reporting.
  • Support ERP and systems integration efforts, including standardization of reporting and consolidation across multiple platforms.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance forecasting accuracy, reporting efficiency, and scalability as the business grows.


Team Leadership & Development

  • Build, mentor, and develop an FP&A team capable of supporting a growing, complex organization.
  • Establish best practices, documentation, and standardized planning and reporting processes.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA/CFA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance, including leadership responsibility.
  • Experience supporting multi-entity, multi-channel, or multi-brand businesses; distribution, manufacturing, or consumer products experience preferred.
  • Prior private equity–backed company experience strongly preferred.
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.

- Monitor stock replenishment, inventory levels, policies/procedures, record keeping, security, sanitation, scheduling, proper operation of all equipment, pricing, planograms, returns, budgets, reports to management, and product recalls per company policy
- Maintain proper records, inventory and security on all scheduled drugs (i.e., controlled substances-narcotics)
- Follow procedures for handling pharmacy products from authorized sources
- Ensure all accuracy tools, including the accuracy scanner and 24-hour post dispensing audit report, are utilized appropriately
- Establish/maintain all record keeping practices necessary for legal compliance, Kroger policies, accounting policies and other requested reports
- Maintain a clean, neat work area, including work counters, shelves, floors and the customer counter to present a professional, sanitary, organized image to customers.
- Ensure all product returns are handled in a timely fashion and per company policy
- Maintain all equipment (e.g., computers, printers, accuracy scanners and cash registers) to ensure it remains in working condition
- Maintain and organize all policy manuals, reference books, state laws and required equipment and verify that all staff is knowledgeable of their use
- Maintain proper signage (e.g., store hours, counseling sign, services signs, pharmacists' photographs and names, and all other signs requested) in all areas necessary
- Make a strong and continuous effort to broaden personal knowledge and pharmacy skills

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum
Bachelors Degree pharmacy
Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing
Ability to handle stressful situations
Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)
Effective oral/written communication skills
