Office Administrator
Position Overview:
This position will report directly to the facility manager. responsibilities will include but will not be limited to, the following:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as skilled at relationship building with staff, visitors, vendors and plant employees
- Manage daily administrative tasks, including answering phones and organizing digital and hardcopy documents
- Receive and review technical information provided by customers.
- Correspond with CMB Engineering & Quality teams regarding customer questions and concerns to resolve issue.
- Manage documentation and follow up on outstanding customer issues and concerns
- Update information in current ERP system, aid with transition to new ERP system and assist with other IT concerns
- Perform quality control on documents generated per customer requests
- Process and submit plant purchase orders and review returned sales acknowledgements for accuracy.
- Assist in project management by completing price lists, tracking deadlines and facilitation communication
- Maintain, organize, order office supplies and manage inventory
- Liaise with CarnaudMetalbox locations to facilitate the exchange of information and review open items.
- Interaction with visitors, corporate members, hourly and salaried staff
- Be trained in and perform EHS responsibilities.
- Assist customer service and warehouse teams as necessary

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent with previous similar work experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment. Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple tasks at the same time
- Proficient data processing skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective and proven verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

The Floor Lead contributes to the success of a Sur La Table store by inspiring customers on all points of their culinary journey. This role supports a General Manager (GM) or Store Manager (SM) in the achievement of sales goals and directs daily store operations as a Manager on Duty (MOD). The Floor Lead reports to a General Manager (GM) or Store Manager (SM).
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Contribute to an environment where employees are informed and capable by supporting training for all employees.
Model and hold employees accountable to customer service standards.
Model and ensure all Sur La Table policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are communicated effectively to employees, maintained and consistently followed.
Provide coaching in the moment and performance feedback to employees and communicate performance issues directly to the General Manager or Store Manager.
Support sales driving initiatives and create daily agendas.
Direct employees to ensure appropriate merchandise stock levels, merchandise presentations, and ensure selling floor is adequately stocked according to visual standards.
Stay informed by maintaining product knowledge, accessing available training and seeking out additional resources when necessary.
Ensure timekeeping practices are in place and consistently followed according to SLT Policy.
Complete and carry out inventory transactions including but not limited to, receiving, MOS, and RARs. Ring employee transactions.
Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills with employees, customers, field management and corporate office.
Accurately record time worked according to SLT policy.
Additional responsibilities as assigned by General Manager or Store Manager.
Essential Functions:
Ability to communicate verbally and work cooperatively with employees and customers.
Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 3 hours at a time.

Experience and Required Qualifications:
1 year of retail sales and customer service experience. Prior experience as a Sur La Table Sales Associate, preferred.
1 year of retail supervisory experience, preferred.
Proficient in POS Systems.
Some experience with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel).
May require Food Handlers Certification.

Underwriting Program Manager – Stop Loss (Fully Remote or Hybrid – Hartford, CT Area)
A growing insurance organization based in Hartford, CT is looking to add an experienced Underwriting Program Manager to oversee a dedicated block of Specific and Aggregate Stop Loss business. This is a key leadership role with ownership over pricing strategy and underwriting results, offering the opportunity to make a real impact within a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
The position can be fully remote, with a hybrid option (2 days onsite) for candidates located within 50 miles of Hartford.
Compensation: $130,000–$160,000 base salary
Responsibilities:
Evaluate case information and risk factors to develop competitive and sound pricing recommendations for both new and in-force Specific and Aggregate Stop Loss accounts, in alignment with underwriting guidelines.
Review large claim data in advance of clinical review to identify potential high-risk drivers and determine appropriate next steps.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with sales partners, brokers, TPAs, underwriters, and other internal and external stakeholders.
Advise clients and partners on stop loss structures and plan design considerations to ensure appropriate risk protection.
Partner with the sales team throughout the quoting process to help position proposals competitively and strategically.
Exercise independent underwriting authority while ensuring complete and accurate file documentation.
