Impact
The Development Analyst (“Analyst”) will serve an integral function at Basel and help coordinate operational, financial, and analytical support across our development, finance, and sales functions. The Area Director, Municipal Sales is a unique position that oversees the largest and most complex Municipal portfolio(s) in the company. The Area Director, Municipal Sales provides expert level leadership, strategic guidance, support and expertise to the Vice President, Municipal Sales, Area Presidents and General Managers. The Area Director, Municipal Sales assists in setting goals and identifying targeted accounts for each Manager, Municipal Sales and measures success against those goals. The Area Director, Municipal Sales works closely with Government Affairs to plan and execute legislative strategy, as well as work with lobbyists and consultants on state or federal government strategy that benefits or protects the company. - Responsible for new sales and retention, analyzing trends and providing effective feedback to Area President and the VP Municipal Sales in order to maintain or improve sales performance. Reviews sales activity funnel on an on-going basis with VP Municipal Sales.
- Responsible for ensuring their Manager, Municipal Sales is populating and maintaining the Contact Relationship Management System (Salesforce) on an on-going basis. Reviews Salesforce compliance and data accuracy with their direct reports to insure the system data is up to date. Uses reports derived from Salesforce to provide coaching and input to the Manager, Municipal Sales.
- Effectively communicates Company objectives, goals, plans and relates concerns on legislation and maintains relationships with government officials. Participates in local National Waste and Recycling Association (NWRA) and Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) organizations on a regular basis in their assigned territory, as well as the League of Cities Associations in their markets.
- Creates and maintains effective reporting systems and communication to and with senior management. Safeguards confidential information.
- May seek out and coordinate development of new solid waste infrastructure projects and manages projects through the development cycle and conclusion, working in coordination with Business Development.

- This position may require travel by air, car and/or other modes of transportation up to 80% of the time.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Waste, transportation or service industry experience.
- Municipal and/or government sales and marketing or government relation’s experience.

Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $192,400.00 to $264,550.00* which reflects the minimum wage in multiple jurisdictions. The actual range will depend on the locality in which you are hired.

Who You AreWe're looking for the best agents who put clients first and are driven to win in their career.
Active and unrestricted real estate license
Minimum of 1 year residential real estate sales experience, ideally with closed transactions; or related real estate experience including but not limited to prior experience with Redfin in a real estate capacity
You are a trusted advisor with in-depth experience leading clients through the home buying and selling process
You have a proven track record of winning web leads and clients over, closing deals and earning referral business
You have excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills
You embrace technology to build your business and collaborate efficiently
This is a commission-based role with unlimited upside. Commissions in this role are expected to range from $30,000-410,000. On average, agents make $160,000, but there is uncapped potential. Commission rates: 25%-40% for Redfin generated sales; 50%-70% for agent generated sales.

Self-Storage Store Manager Responsibilities:
- Exceeding sales goals by effectively promoting unit rentals, unit warranties, moving supplies, and garnering positive reviews.
- Guiding and assisting new customers throughout the rental process, ensuring smooth and seamless transactions.
- Personally reaching out to potential reservations to confirm their moving dates and secure their storage unit.
- Proactively managing past due tenants and efficiently handling paperwork associated with the lien/auction process.
- Delivering exceptional customer service to our existing customers, going above and beyond to meet their needs.
- Conducting daily property walks to maintain security, cleanliness, and upkeep, including tasks like checking locks, cleaning units, restocking supplies, and performing light maintenance duties.
- Communicating results, updates, and recommendations clearly and effectively to the District Manager and Leadership Team.

Self-Storage Store Manager Skills and Experience:
- Need to be able to move about the entire 1-acre property (both indoors and outdoors) for customer tours of the facility, to receive, move and restock inventory in boxes up to 50 pounds (on occasion), to position self for inspection and general maintenance tasks, to recognize potential maintenance, safety, and fire issues, and to operate roll-up doors to storage units.
- Willing to do some travel (on occasion) to another location for certain scheduled shifts.
- Our office is open on weekends, but we are as flexible as possible with scheduling to help you achieve a great work-life balance.
