CITY Laundering is looking for a motivated and relationship-driven Rental Sales Representative to help grow our business by bringing on new customers through rental service agreements. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, solving problems, and owning the full sales process in a competitive environment.
You'll work consultatively with businesses, manage your territory, and build long-term relationships while driving results.
What You'll DoDrive revenue growth by selling rental service agreements and direct-sale products
Prospect and manage your territory through cold calling, presentations, follow-ups, and relationship building
Use Salesforce (CRM) to generate leads, schedule appointments, and maintain accurate records
Manage daily activities independently while staying aligned with weekly sales goals
Execute KPIs with guidance and support from the Director of Sales
Present CITY's solutions clearly and professionally using approved sales strategies
Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact through close
Maintain strong knowledge of CITY's products and services
Follow a hybrid work schedule:
In-office Mondays & Fridays (8:00 AM 5:00 PM) for cold calling, training, and one-on-one meetings
Field-based TuesdaysThursdays meeting with customers and scheduling future appointments
Communicate positively and professionally with customers, prospects, and teammates
Represent CITY in a professional manner at all times
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
Maintain regular and reliable attendance
QualificationsValid driver's license and clean driving record required
Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities -
+ Review drawings, specifications, and RFPs to determine project scope
+ Develop detailed cost estimates and create estimate summaries
+ Monitor bid calendars and complete proposals on schedule
+ Perform and review material takeoffs for accuracy and completeness
+ Obtain pricing from vendors and subcontractors; conduct scope reviews
+ Prepare proposals, bid forms, and cost breakdowns
+ Support development of conceptual budgets from preliminary designs
+ Collaborate with sales teams on procurement strategies
+ Participate in client and engineer project scope review meetings

Qualifications -
+ Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; or equivalent relevant experience

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with estimating software (Quickpen or similar) preferred
+ Strong analytical and mathematical skills with solid understanding of engineering and construction principles

Overview
Part Time/ Temp Warehouse Specialist working with back orders, inventory counts, Occasional local travel may be required to deliver parts to customers, and parts returns. Additional responsibilities: shipping/receiving, hose assembly, inventory storage, and order picking activities for the Parts Department. Part-Time/Temp position needed Spring 2026 (April) through Fall 2026 (August)
Basic Duties
- Complete required paperwork and computer data entry.
- Provide primary material handling duties within the department
- Assist customers and shop personnel by pulling orders and other needs as required.
- Occasionally deliver parts in a company pickup truck to customers and other store locations.
- Ability to look up part numbers in equipment parts books or online resources and assist customers is helpful.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in delivery as well as loading/unloading experience required.

Overview
Perform maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs in the field, on customer owned or Altorfer rental lift trucks/forklifts, Caterpillar, and other allied type construction equipment. Location areas to be serviced are: Cedar Rapids, IA., Cedar Falls, IA. and Dubuque, IA.
Basic Duties
- Provide exceptional service to our customers by performing maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs on allied type construction and lift truck equipment.
- Assist in the decision if equipment needs to be transported into the shop to complete repairs.
- Establish and maintain service-oriented working relationship with customers.
- Plan and execute the repair of various pieces of rental equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service to all customers.
- Complete service reports and all other paperwork before and after repairs are made
- May perform other related duties as requested and/or assigned.
- Keep current with industry standards.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of a formal technical training program preferred or a minimum of 2 years of previous related work experience required.
- Previous experience working on electric, diesel engines, hydraulic systems, fuel systems, drivetrain, brake systems, etc. and possess troubleshooting skills.
- Automotive and Industrial Maintenance Technicians encouraged to apply.
- Computer literate and proficient with programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook required. Knowledge of Cat software preferred.
- Must take initiative, be team oriented and willing to adapt to change.
- Ability to write professional business communication when sending emails, letters, notes, and documenting is required.
- Must be a self-starter, well organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow all safety rules and wear proper safety equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills are needed.
- Must be able to safely lift 75 lbs, bend, twist, and climb.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with clean driving record. This includes no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate).
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
This position will work in the field/shop environment and at Customer jobsites. May on a continuous basis carry, bend and lift; up to 75 lbs. Will be required to wear appropriate safety equipment (IE- steel toed boots, hard hat, safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection, cut resistant gloves, etc.) for a given situation. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed. Travel between locations is required. Overview
Perform service and repairs on Caterpillar and other types of heavy equipment.
Basic Duties
- Trouble-shoot and repair engine, hydraulic, electrical and all other systems.
- Provide excellent customer service to all customers.
- Operate equipment in a safe manner to find diagnostic errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
- Establish and maintain a service oriented relationship with customers and supervisors.
- Complete service reports in a timely manner.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Successful completion of a formal technical training program with a minimum of three years' experience required.
- Must have engine, electrical & hydraulic diagnostic, trouble shooting and repair skills.
- Computer literate. Must be familiar with programs such as Microsoft, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to follow all safety rules and wear proper safety equipment in the shop.
- Must be a self-starter with good time management
- Excellent planning & organizational skills required
- Ability to work overtime and some weekends when needed.
- Excellent communication skills (written, e-mail, and verbal) are necessary.
- Must be able to lift up to 75-100lbs and provide your own tools.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
