Sika is looking for an experienced shipping and receiving lead, to join our growing team. At Sika, the shipping and receiving employees perform various Shipping and Receiving tasks, pick material for internal process orders, and perform cycle counts as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- • Examine shipment contents and compare with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy.
• Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies for reporting,
accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.
• Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials.
• Confer or correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or
nonconformance to specifications.
• Move levers or controls that operate lifting devices, such as forklifts, lift beams with swivel-hooks, hoists, or
elevating platforms, to load, unload, transport, or stack material.
• Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and
complete delivery.
• Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other
transport vehicles.
• Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, or boxes and secure material or products for
transport to designated areas.
• Weigh materials or products and record weight or other production data on tags or labels.
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles or auxiliary equipment, such as cleaning, lubricating, recharging
batteries, fueling, or replacing liquefied-gas tank.
• Move controls to drive gasoline- or electric-powered trucks, cars, or tractors and transport materials between
loading, processing, and storage areas.
• Operate or tend automatic stacking, loading, packaging, or cutting machines.
• Signal workers to discharge, dump, or level materials.
• Complete cycle counts daily or as needed.
• Support other areas of production as designated by Manufacturing Manager.
• Pull and put away all material needed for production.
• Organize and keep all materials together in the same locations.

GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Lead Sales Associate helps maintain a clean, well-organized store with a customer-first focus. The duties of the Lead Sales Associate include assisting customers in locating and purchasing merchandise, operating a cash register, stocking and recovering merchandise, cleaning the store, and performing other duties as assigned by the Store Manager to maximize store profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting company assets. Lead Sales Associates perform the duties of a Sales Associate and act in a lead capacity in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
DUTIES and ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
* Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
* Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer's purchase, collect payment from customers and make change, bag merchandise, and assist customers with merchandise as necessary.
* Follow company work processes to receive, open and unpack boxes, cartons and totes of merchandise; stock merchandise, restock and rotate merchandise on shelves, and build merchandise displays.
* Clean the store; take out trash; dust and mop store floors; clean restroom and stockroom; and help set up sidewalk displays.
* Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms.

The lab supports automotive, EV, aerospace, rail, and advanced mobility customers with testing, inspection, and certification services.
The GM ensures technical excellence, regulatory compliance (ISO/IEC 17025 and applicable mobility standards), strong client relationships, and profitable growth while maintaining a culture of safety, quality, and operational discipline.
Key Responsibilities
1. P&L & Business Leadership
- Own full profit and loss responsibility for the mobility laboratory.
- Develop and execute annual operating plans, budgets, and growth strategies.
- Drive revenue growth across automotive, EV, aerospace, rail, and next-gen mobility sectors.
- Monitor KPIs including revenue, margin, utilization, backlog, and cash flow.
- Optimize cost structure while maintaining service quality and accreditation compliance.
2. Commercial & Customer Strategy

- Identify new service opportunities (battery testing, EMC, environmental, durability, ADAS validation, etc.).

- Oversee daily laboratory operations including testing, scheduling, capacity planning, and equipment utilization.
- Ensure compliance with International Organization for Standardization ISO/IEC 17025 and other applicable standards (SAE, IEC, UL, FMVSS, etc.).
- Maintain accreditations through bodies such as ANAB or equivalent.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, automation).
- Ensure capital investment planning aligns with market demand and ROI targets.
4. Quality & Regulatory Compliance
- Maintain rigorous adherence to safety and quality systems.
- Lead internal and external audits.
- Manage risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure testing integrity and data reliability for certification purposes.
5. People Leadership
- Lead multidisciplinary teams including engineering, technicians, quality, and commercial staff.

- Holds a valid State-Mandated Food Handlers Certification, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Proficient in POS systems, scheduling software (specifically 7Shifts), purchasing platforms, streamlining daily operations.
- Demonstrate clear, high-level communication skills to effectively lead teams and enhance guest satisfaction.
- Solid experience with P&L management, understanding the relationship between sales, labor, and operational costs.
- Strong communication and a passion for delivering world-class service at every touchpoint.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Push, pull up, or lift up to 50 lbs.
- Occasionally kneeling.

4. Resolving customer complaints in a professional and efficient manner.

9. Tracking shipments using various courier systems (UPS, FedEx) and resolving any issues that arise.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate for the Consulting Distribution Customer Service Representative position must possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 6 months of customer service experience, preferably in a distribution or logistics environment.
2. Strong knowledge of the distribution industry, including shipping, tracking, and bills of lading.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
5. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
6. Proficient in data entry and good working knowledge of relevant software (MS Office, in particular).
7. Experience with UPS and FedEx systems is a plus.
8. Strong understanding of sales and pricing strategies.
9. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
