Full-time General Manager needed in Plainview, TX. 3 weeks PTO, 401K with 4% match, yearly bonus based on blend of personal and company performance. This position will lead and direct all operational activities for their respective site. Direct reporting responsibilities for site personnel include all Shop Supervisors, Team Leads, Shop Personnel, Scheduling, and other personnel as assigned. Position shall implement and manage company policies and procedures at the site. The General Manager is responsible for the assigned site’s overall ability to meet and exceed annual financial, efficiency/productivity, quality, and safety goals. Prior management of welding shops preferred. Local candidates will be prioritized.
Essential Job Functions:
Responsible for driving expected culture through the site by exhibiting the expected behavior and production while building a cohesive, high-performance team.
Identify, develop and mentor key leadership and succession plans for functional areas of responsibility.
Responsible for driving a safe culture and coordinating with company safety objectives to ensure all safety processes and procedures are implemented and followed by all assigned personnel.
Monitoring and communicating operational KPI results on a weekly and monthly basis with Director of Operations.
Responsible for Site’s annual operating budget including expenses, headcount, capital requests, goals and expectations.
Work effectively with all other departments to include; project management, sales, production, planning and scheduling, purchasing, inventory, finance and logistics.
Coordinate with Director of Operations to oversee the manufacturing/fabrication processes and lead efforts to continuously control costs, improve shop floor efficiency, productivity and profitability.
Work consistently to establish appropriate staffing levels for all site operations areas of responsibilities.
Participate actively in the daily, weekly and monthly reconciliation of data collection for timecards, production results (Using our system), weekly safety inspections and preventative maintenance records.
Support the companies policies and procedures by effectively communicating and enforcing policies and procedures to reduce potential risks to the company.
Work to support Finance to ensure internal controls are being followed; product costs are accurate; review variance to budget information; direct and indirect labor; overhead rates; financial numbers and inventory.
Monitor the facility’s budgets and review financial statements with upper management.
Ensure facility’s Quality Assurance Process (QAP) is implemented and followed by all assigned personnel.
Drive Monthly Continuous Improvement for the site. Work with teams to provide a closed loop process to collect and implement improvement in all areas.
Responsible for implementing needed changes resulting from non-conformances/corrective actions. Manage a waste tracking system and continuously strive to eliminate waste of both material and labor.

Education and Work Experience:
