Job Summary Statement:


As the Production Planner at Waaree Solar Americas, you will be instrumental in optimizing our manufacturing processes, sales to cash cycle, and ensuring seamless production scheduling to meet customer demand and operational targets. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement production plans that align with business objectives and support our growth trajectory. This position is full time on site and may require occasional travel to vendor locations.



Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute production plans and schedules to optimize manufacturing efficiency, minimize lead times, and meet customer delivery requirements.
  • Develop and maintain capacity models to be used in current planning, and future strategic planning
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, procurement, and engineering teams to understand demand forecasts, production capacity, and inventory levels to develop production plans that balance supply and demand.
  • Utilize advanced planning tools and software to forecast production requirements, plan capacity, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Analyze production data, including production output, cycle times, and equipment utilization, to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
  • Coordinate with production teams to prioritize and schedule production orders based on customer requirements, production capacity, and resource availability.
  • Monitor and track production progress against the production plan, identify potential bottlenecks or delays, and implement corrective actions to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Work closely with procurement and inventory management teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components to support production schedules and minimize inventories.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement new processes, technologies, and equipment to improve production efficiency and capacity.
  • Develop and maintain production planning policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, developments, and best practices in production planning and supply chain management to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.


Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, operations management, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., APICS, CPIM) preferred.
  • 2 years proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations, preferably in a highly automated manufacturing environment or startup company.
  • Strong understanding of production planning principles, lean manufacturing concepts, and supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in production planning software and tools, such as ERP systems, MRP systems, and advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
  • Strong understanding of SIOP processes, and LEAN manufacturing concepts for material flow.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • SAP experience is a plus.

The Executive Assistant serves as the professional liaison for the CEO and up to one additional executive, providing comprehensive administrative support that enables organizational leadership to focus on strategic priorities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Including but not limited to)

  1. Provide comprehensive administrative support to the CEO and up to one additional executive, ensuring they can fulfill their objectives, meet deadlines, and achieve organizational goals through excellent time management and prioritization.
  2. Manage executive time with excellence by researching and routing correspondence, drafting letters and documents, collecting and analyzing information, and initiating telecommunications on behalf of leadership. Review all correspondence addressed to the CEO and respond independently when appropriate or bring items to the CEO's attention with relevant context and recommendations.
  3. Oversee and maintain executive calendars with strategic awareness. Independently schedule appointments, meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel arrangements. Ensure appropriate preparation time, briefing materials, and follow-up for all engagements.
  4. Receive and manage incoming calls for the CEO and additional executive. Handle inquiries independently when appropriate and distribute messages with relevant context and priority indicators.
  5. Serve as the primary liaison to the Board of Directors. Coordinate board logistics including securing meeting locations, preparing agendas and board packets, distributing minutes, managing Board Resolutions, collecting and recording votes, and reporting outcomes in subsequent board meeting agendas.
  6. Support special events including Christmas Open House, fundraising events, donor cultivation activities, and community celebrations. Represent Brookwood's mission with excellence and warmth in all event interactions.
  7. Create compelling, professional PowerPoint presentations for board meetings, staff presentations, conferences, and donor communications that effectively communicate Brookwood's mission, impact, and strategic initiatives.
  8. Attend regular Senior Leadership Team meetings and other relevant leadership meetings to provide administrative support, take accurate minutes, assist with presentation materials and resources, and ensure appropriate follow-up with stakeholders.
