Alphanumeric is hiring a Project Manager to support our long-standing client of 20+ years, a global organization committed to improving lives through medical and pharmaceutical advancements. This contract role is based in Zebulon, NC and offers a hybrid work schedule.


About the Role

The Project Manager (Contract) - External Warehouse PM & FTZ Overseer will support two critical operational functions at the Zebulon site:

  1. End-to-end Project Management for the onboarding, setup, execution, and performance of a local External Warehouse Provider
  2. Expanded oversight and operational management of the Zebulon Site Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ)


This role partners cross-functionally with Logistics, Finance, 3PL providers, and other key stakeholders to ensure compliant, efficient, and scalable operations aligned with established SOPs, Global Standards, Quality, Safety, and all applicable legal requirements.


Responsibilities

External Warehouse Project Management

  • Lead end-to-end onboarding and execution of the External Warehouse provider
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones
  • Provide regular status updates to internal and external stakeholders
  • Design and implement flow, capacity, and inventory management processes in collaboration with Logistics and 3PL teams
  • Establish new ways of working while ensuring strict adherence to SOPs, Global Standards, Quality, Safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to warehouse operations and material movement

Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) Oversight

  • Expand oversight and execution of daily FTZ operations at the Zebulon site
  • Develop, document, and maintain compliant FTZ processes and workflows
  • Partner closely with Logistics, Finance, 3PL Warehouse teams, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure full compliance with FTZ regulations, internal SOPs, Global Standards, and Quality and Safety expectations
  • Support audits, documentation, and ongoing operational readiness related to FTZ activities


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Related experience working with Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ) or free trade zone operations
  • Strong project management experience in warehouse, logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing environments
  • Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work onsite 3-4 days per week in Zebulon, NC
