Position Title: Inventory Control Technician

Position Summary
The Inventory Control Technician is responsible for executing day-to-day Logistics operations related to Shipping and Receiving, physical inventory custody, controlled storage, and material handling in support of production and program execution.
This position coordinates with Asset Management, Quality Control, Fabrication, and Assembly teams to ensure materials are staged, issued, transferred, and documented accurately throughout the product build lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred)
- 2–5 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, or materials handling
- Experience with Shipping & Receiving and inventory tracking systems
- Comfort working with physical inventory and material-handling equipment
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Familiarity with digital workplace tools (email, Teams, reporting systems)
Primary Responsibilities
Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Execution
- Receive inbound shipments and verify quantities, condition, labeling, and documentation against shipping records and internal requests
- Log all receipts accurately into the inventory system and assign proper storage locations.
- Prepare outbound shipments following Logistics instructions and release status
- Maintain physical custody and accountability of all assigned materials and assets
Production Support & Internal Hand-Offs
- Execute pre-assembly product kitting activities in accordance with instructions and schedules provided by Asset Management
- Stage, issue, and transfer materials to Fabrication and Assembly teams as authorized
- Log all internal product hand-offs, returns, and receipts during the product assembly process
- Support controlled material movement between Inventory Control, Assembly, Test, and Storage locations
Documentation & Traceability
- Ensure all required Logistics documentation is prepared, transferred, and retained for material movements
- Verify that receiving, transfer, and shipping documents are complete and routed for Quality Control inspection and sign-off when required
- Maintain accurate transaction history and location records for all handled materials
Inventory Custody, Storage & Security
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work area at all times
- Ensure equipment, parts, and assets are properly stored and not unnecessarily exposed to unpackaged or uncontrolled environments
- Enforce controlled access to restricted and caged storage areas
- Segregate accepted, quarantined, NCR, and return-to-vendor materials as directed
Tools, Equipment & Material Handling
- Safely operate and work with material-handling and logistics equipment, including:
- Pallet jacks and container lifts
- Barcode scanners and inventory readers
- Scales and measurement devices
- ESD mats, straps, and wearables
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and return them to designated storage locations after use
- Report damaged tools, unsafe conditions, or equipment issues promptly
Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate daily activities with Asset Management, Quality Control, and Assembly teams
- Communicate material status, discrepancies, and constraints promptly
- Use digital communication tools (email, Microsoft Teams chat/channels, internal reports)
- Remain highly available during working hours to support time-sensitive Logistics operations

- Execute assigned tasks in an immediate, orderly, and disciplined manner
- Follow established Logistics procedures and escalation paths

As a Supply Chain & Logistics Management Specialist, you will be working in a combined role. If selected, you will be working directly within a team managing high value AOG (Aircraft on the Ground) MICAP shipments for our USAF Customer.
The successful candidate will support and develop processes, strategies and disciplines related to transportation & logistics services. The candidate will also work on initiating, processing, and after-action requirements of AOG MICAP orders. This is a dual cross-functional role, and the qualified candidate will support the C17 AOG MICAP Teams transportation risk mitigation activities as well as being a team member managing AOG MICAP customer orders.
You will be required, daily to provide oversight of service provider performance and adherence to their contracted obligations. Candidate will have responsibility to build collaborative business relationships with functional stakeholders, service providers, and key business partners. This role is designed for a proven, fully formed credit originator with the ability to independently source, structure, and close institutional real estate credit transactions across multiple asset classes.
Leon Financial operates a diversified real estate credit platform, with active focus areas that include industrial, multifamily, healthcare, retail, and self-storage. The successful candidate will be a strong CRE credit generalist — someone with depth in certain asset classes and the judgment and flexibility to execute across others as capital allocation and deal flow evolve.
This is not a training or ramp-up role. The expectation is immediate contribution and consistent production.

- Recapitalizations and complex capital stacks
- Own transactions end-to-end, from initial sourcing and structuring through underwriting, credit approval, and closing, in close partnership with internal investment, legal, and asset management teams.
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of institutional-quality opportunities aligned with Leon Financial's risk-adjusted return objectives.
- Represent Leon Financial, LLC in the market with sponsors, intermediaries, and industry participants.
Qualifications:
- 10–20+ years of commercial real estate credit origination experience with a verifiable history of closed transactions.
- Demonstrated track record as a high-performing CRE credit originator, not an emerging producer.
- Experience originating credit across multiple CRE asset classes, with depth in one or more of Leon Financial's core focus areas.
Background originating credit at one or more of the following:
- Private real estate credit funds
- Real estate debt platforms
- Institutional or specialty CRE lenders
- Strong credit judgment and comfort with underwriting transactions across different property types and market cycles.
- Proven ability to operate autonomously with high accountability and minimal oversight.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
