The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting month-end and year-end closes, and performing various other accounting duties.
Responsibilities Assist with and support the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting Record all payroll-related journal entries and confirm reconciliation to cash Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, reclasses, and adjustments Perform credit card reconciliations, reviewing transactions for accuracy and proper coding Complete cash-related reconciliations, including bank accounts and cash clearing accounts Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts and investigate and resolve variances Support internal and external audit requests by preparing documentation and schedules Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting schedules Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 1–3 years of accounting experience (public accounting or corporate experience preferred) Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPS preferred) Experience with ERP systems Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Excellent communication and organizational skills Interested in hearing more?
