Information Professional Officers (IPOs) oversee the seamless operation of the global Naval network environment. Their responsibilities include:
  • Leading the Naval network warfare missions in developing tactics and procedures to realize tactical, strategic and business advantages afloat and ashore
  • Driving interoperability with joint, allied and coalition partners
  • Building professional excellence through education, training and certification and milestone qualifications
  • Optimizing organizational effectiveness through cutting-edge technologies, knowledge management techniques and a culture of innovation
  • Helping to develop and deploy information systems, command and control and space systems
  • Serving as a key part of the Information Dominance Corps in its mission to gain a deep understanding of the inner workings of adversaries

Work Environment
Information Professionals serve in challenging roles of increasing scope and responsibility both afloat and ashore. This could include:

Training & Advancement
Those pursuing an Information Professional Officer position are required to attend Officer Candidate School (OCS) in Newport, RI.
Upon completion, candidates typically attend a five-week IP Basic Course of instruction in Pensacola, FL, before or during their initial assignment. IPOs must complete specific qualifications as part of their training during Fleet tours and are expected to pursue advanced education opportunities.
Promotion opportunities are regularly available but competitive and based on performance.

Qualifications & Requirements
A degree from a four-year college or university is a minimum educational requirement to become a Commissioned Officer. Candidates seeking an Information Professional Officer position must have a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in a technical field, preferably in one of following fields: Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Operations, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, General Engineering.
All candidates must also be: U.S. citizens, willing to serve worldwide, eligible for a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance and qualified for sea duty.
General qualifications may vary depending upon whether you're currently serving, whether you've served before or whether you've never served before.
Part-Time Opportunities
There are part-time opportunities available as an Information Professional Officer.
Serving part-time as a Navy Reserve Sailor, your duties will be carried out during your scheduled drilling and training periods. During monthly drilling, Information Professional Officers in the Navy Reserve typically work at a location close to their homes.
For annual training, Information Professional Officers may serve anywhere in the world, whether on a ship at sea or at bases and installations on shore.

The typical pay range for this role is:

$17.00 - $28.46

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

Position Overview

• Role: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)

• Location: Maine

• Schedule: Full-time (4 or 5 days per week) with no weekends, holidays, or overnight shifts

• No weekends, holidays, or overnight call

• Competitive salary based on experience

• Care Model: Primarily onsite with some telemedicine coverage


What You’ll Do

• Provide comprehensive geriatric medical care in assisted living, memory care, and long-term care facilities

• Manage chronic conditions, acute issues, and regulatory visits with a patient-centered approach

• Develop and oversee individualized care plans focused on function, safety, and quality of life

• Collaborate closely with nursing staff, facility leadership, and interdisciplinary care teams

• Participate in telemedicine visits to enhance continuity and access to care

• Use remote patient monitoring tools to support proactive and preventive care

• Complete timely, high-quality documentation in the EHR


What You Bring

• Active NP or PA license in the state of Maine

• Experience in geriatrics, long-term care, or post-acute care—or a strong interest in this specialty

• Comfort working independently while collaborating within a team-based model

• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills

• Confidence using technology, EHRs, and telehealth tools

• Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and care teams

Ducas Construction is seeking an experienced Lead Estimator to join our growing team. This role is responsible for leading the estimating process for a wide range of commercial construction projects, delivering accurate, timely, and competitive estimates from schematic design through permit and construction documents.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This individual will be a strong communicator, capable of working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners while independently managing smaller projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full estimating process for commercial construction projects
  • Interpret and analyze bid documents, including:
  • Civil, Architectural, Structural
  • Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical
  • Fire Protection and Technology drawings
  • Project specifications and addenda
  • Generate accurate quantity take-offs using On-Screen Takeoff
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates by CSI divisions, including labor, materials, equipment, and schedule projections
  • Create, maintain, and annually update a historical cost database
  • Develop and utilize bid leveling worksheets for various scopes of work
  • Attend pre-bid walkthroughs, site visits, and meetings as required
  • Prepare and submit complete and competitive bid proposals
  • Define subcontractor scopes of work and solicit pricing
  • Develop and issue subcontractor Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
  • Ensure estimates comply with company standards, client requirements, and available resources
  • Maintain thorough, accurate documentation for all estimates
  • Stay current on construction materials, pricing trends, and local regulations
  • Identify potential safety risks and incorporate mitigation strategies into estimates
  • Develop innovative construction means and methods to improve competitiveness and margins
  • Build strong working relationships with subcontractors, architects, engineers, owners, and fellow estimators
  • Meet deadlines consistently while delivering accurate, high-quality estimates
  • Coordinate the transition of awarded projects to the Project Management team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field — or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of construction estimating experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role
  • Proficiency with:
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • On-Screen Takeoff
  • Sage Estimating
  • Bluebeam (or similar estimating tools)
  • Experience developing conceptual estimates preferred
  • Exceptional analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong understanding of current industry pricing trends and best practices
