General Summary:

Develop and maintain machining process parameters for all existing programs and participate in program launch activities for new programs. Participate in tool design configuration for both new and existing programs. Lead continuous improvement activities in the machining departments using a structured approach such as Six Sigma or Lean.


Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support promoting and modeling a culture of safe work practices to all team members.
  • Support the sales team and customers to develop business winning solutions (engineering, cost, productivity, quality, etc) to grow MTIs business
  • Lead team activities developing and maintaining manufacturing processes. Projects may span all or part of project launch, initial start-up through mature production.
  • Initiates tooling, process, or design changes to improve product performance, quality, or manufacturing cost.
  • Demonstrates “Hands-on” techniques and a willingness to cooperatively work with machine operators, supervisors and leads to solve production problems.
  • Utilizes SPC; may lead or participate in process improvement efforts.
  • Actively participates in and conducts process reviews.
  • Supports manufacturing cost-estimating activities.
  • Interact frequently with other functional groups to coordinate technical and or documentation matters. May interact with suppliers and customers.
  • Works directly with Plant employees or Supervisors to resolve equipment, process, quality, efficiency, or tooling issues.
  • Supports directly or indirectly Plant MRB Disposition and Corrective Action activities.
  • Reviews customer specifications and recommends changes to improve manufacturability as required.
  • Works closely with Sales and Engineering to establish cost trade-offs.
  • Acts as project leader on routine process or machine development efforts as required.
  • Cycle time reduction and tool cost savings
  • Drive improvements in machine scrap reductions
  • Prepare detailed plans necessary to complete work on projects, tooling or work centers for activities spanning several weeks to months.
  • Develop work instructions.

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:

  • Must have mechanical and analytical ability, math skills, and knowledge of machining practices.
  • Strong communication skills, along with blueprint reading skills and GD&T knowledge.
  • Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions and write simple and complex procedures.
  • Ability to effectively present information to employees and customers
  • Troubleshooting skills related to machine and process issues.
  • Knowledge of machining abilities of lathes, mills, broaching, grinding, and balancing machines
  • Knowledge of company products, competitor products, and supplier capability.
  • Ability to read and react to CMM reports.
  • Knowledge of 2-D CAD/CAM system
  • Ability to plan for and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to understand and implement PPAP, FMEA and Control Plans.
  • Ability to use advanced engineering techniques for problem resolution (FMEA, designed experiment, etc.)


Working Conditions

  • The Manufacturing Engineer will reside in the office, however, will be in the plant occasionally. Must be able to adhere to conditions of the plant.


Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.
  • Must be able to move about inside the office and in the plant, access file cabinets etc.
  • Frequently operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as calculator, copy machine and printer.
  • Must be able to frequently communicate with employees and other individuals in person and telephone.


Education and Experience Requirements:

  • BS degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • Six Sigma Training a plus
  • Background in Quality Systems a plus
  • CNC programming skills, Fanuc controls used on Muratta & Mori-Seiki machines preferred. HAAS programming knowledge is a plus.
  • Poke-yoke and mistake-proofing experience
  • CNC Mill experience preferred.

The Speech Language Therapist or Clinical Fellow will be responsible for the administration and direct application of Speech-Language pathology treatment modalities as prescribed by a referring physician. If a Clinical Fellow, they will be supervised by an onsite Speech Language Pathologist as per protocol until they obtain their SLP license following the completion of the Clinical Fellowship. Duties include evaluating, planning, directing, and treating all patients referred to Speech-Language Pathology. In this role, you will assist patients to obtain maximum performance and function in society while learning to live a routine "normal" life within the constraints of their disability. This position may also provide coverage at other affiliated locations as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Evaluate and treat patients requiring speech therapy services in Acute Care
* Evaluate and treat patients requiring speech therapy services in Skilled Nursing
* Evaluate and treat patients requiring speech therapy services in Outpatient
* Documents appropriately in the medical record for all speech-language pathology treatments, assessments and evaluations performed for inpatient and outpatient care
* Submits timely reports to the ordering Physician and updates the Rehabilitation Director daily and /or weekly on ST caseload that is being treated

Schedule: This full time, exempt position will work 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, in the hospital (skilled nursing unit and inpatient) and outpatient as needed.
Rehab Department Hours: Operating hours for the hospital are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, and Saturday, 8:00am-4:00pm. Outpatient hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00am-6:00pm. Software systems utilized include Agile (Outpatient), Brightree/Matrix (Home Health), NetHealth (SNF), and CPSI (Inpatient).

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
  • Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
  • Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
  • Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.

Salary for newly appointed law enforcement Border Patrol Agents varies from:

Base Salary: GL-9/GS-11, $63,148 - $120,145 per year
Locality Pay: Varies by duty location.
Overtime Pay: Up to 25%

Duty location impacts pay rates; locality pay for federal law enforcement is higher in some locations than others. A fully trained BPA may be eligible for up to an additional 25% of base pay per the BPA Pay Reform Act of 2014. This is a career ladder position with a grade level progression from GL-9 to GS-11 to GS-12. You will be eligible for a promotion to the next higher grade level (without re-applying) once you successfully complete 52 weeks in the lower grade level.

All Border Patrol Agents may select from an array of federal employment benefits that include health and insurance plans, a generous annual and sick leave program, and participation in the Thrift Savings Plan, a retirement plan that is similar to traditional and ROTH 401(k) offerings.

*Recruitment Incentive* Newly appointed Border Patrol Agents (as defined in 5 CFR 575.102) will be offered up to a $20,000 incentive. The first $10,000 will be paid upon successful completion of the Border Patrol Academy, with the remaining $10,000 awarded for accepting a prioritized location. Duties and Responsibilities:

As a BPA, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity. Being a BPA makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) profession.

Typical assignments include:

  • Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws and inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
  • Preventing and apprehending aliens and smugglers of aliens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions to include using infrared scopes during night operations.
  • Interpreting and following tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry of persons or contraband.
  • Performing farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, and transportation checks.
  • Patrolling the international boundary and coastal waterways using a variety of government assets such as vehicles, horses, vessels, watercraft, off-road vehicles, ATVs, snowmobiles, and motorcycles for the accomplishment of the USBP Mission.

Qualifications:

GL-9:You qualify for the GL-9 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as:

  • Performing physical searches of detained individuals, their vehicles, and their immediate surroundings for weapons, contraband, currency, and other evidence.
  • Apprehending, physically restraining, or working with law enforcement officials to identify or apprehend violators of state, federal, or immigration laws.
  • Proficient in the use of firearms, preparing investigative reports, serving court orders (e.g., warrants, subpoenas, etc.), and gathering evidence for criminal cases prosecuted through the court system.

If you have previous or current law enforcement or military law enforcement experience, you may qualify at the GS-11 grade level.

GS-11: You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, with the authority granted by the state or government to enforce laws, make arrests, and investigate crimes, performing primary duties in an official law enforcement capacity such as:

  • Utilizing intelligence information to track illegal operations, criminal activity, threats to our nation, and/or contraband while serving as a state, federal, or military law enforcement official.
  • Leading investigations of fraud, contraband, criminal activity, threats to our nation, and/or illegal operations to determine sources and patterns while serving as a state, federal, or military law enforcement official.
  • Apprehending violators of state, federal, or immigration laws by utilizing various forms of complex technology that include surveillance, detection, situation awareness systems, and/or communications equipment.

The above experience will be applied in connection with the following: Make arrests and exercise sound judgment in the use of firearms; deal effectively with people in a courteous manner in connection with law enforcement matters; analyze information rapidly and make prompt decisions; or develop and maintain contact with a network of informants.

There are no education substitutions for the GL-9 or GS-11 grade-level Border Patrol Agent opportunities.

Border Patrol work requires the ability to speak and read Spanish, as well as English. Border Patrol Agents will be provided training to become proficient in the Spanish language at the Academy.
