Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including emergent STEMI cases.
  • Prep patients and equipment for procedures
  • Monitor patient status throughout procedures
  • Ensure a safe, efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment.
  • This position also includes participation in an on-call rotation to sup port our 24/7 coverage.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate of a Radiology Technology, Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent program.
  • If not a graduate of above programs must have 4yrs of direct cath lab experience
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

Certification/Licensure:

  • Must be currently registered Radiological Technologist or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or must become RT(R) or RCIS certified within 18 months of hire or transfer
  • Current Certification (or within 1 month of hire) as American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
  • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or within 6 months of hire)
