We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Plant Manager to lead all operations at our manufacturing client.

This position is ideal for a leader who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, values collaboration, and knows how to build strong teams while driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all daily manufacturing activities, including production, materials, labor, quality, and capital needs.
• Improve plant performance by evaluating processes, identifying gaps, and implementing solutions.
• Develop and execute operational plans that support business goals.
• Manage budgets, capital spending, and financial performance, including variance analysis and corrective actions.
• Champion continuous improvement efforts and help move the plant toward world‑class manufacturing standards.
• Ensure the facility meets all regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements (FDA, BRC, etc.).
• Review audit findings and lead corrective action plans.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, regulatory agencies, and community partners.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in food or beverage manufacturing.
• 5+ years of Plant Management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, Business, or a related technical field.
• Strong understanding of plant operations, continuous improvement, and performance management.
• Proven ability to lead teams, set goals, and deliver measurable results.

As a Production Supervisor you will coordinate the effective use of equipment, facilities, team members and skill sets in order to meet all safety, quality, delivery and cost requirements for a group of departments and/or multiple shifts.

You will do this by

1. Develops, trains and motivates team members to achieve desired safety, efficiency, proficiency, cooperation and morale; maintains awareness of plant and/or engineering policies and procedures and ensures employee adherence; may recommend and/or implement new plant policies and procedures
2. Analyzes potential production problems (delays, material shortages, equipment repairs, etc.) and devises and implements procedures to minimize lost time due to these occurrences
3. Reviews operational schedules, coordinates production/testing activities, and manages team member assignments; may manage for multiple departments and/or shifts
4. Assists with tasks such as monitoring and determining manufacturing costs and outlay, quality and quantity of goods produced, production methods, tooling applications and ensures the effective use of production hours, skills, machines, equipment and facilities
5. Interacts with engineers to modify machines, equipment and/or processes to improve safety, production and overall quality; provides liaison support between plant and engineering to ensure efficient manufacturing processes
6. Uses data to estimate work-hour requirements and departmental efficiencies for continuous improvement projects. Recommends and initiates projects; sees those projects through to deadline with measurable improvements
7. Manages costs and budgets and provide corrective action plans to improve budgetary control
8. Inspects materials and finished product for quality compliance as required
9. Perform full range of managerial responsibilities which may include but not be limited to: interviewing, hiring, coaching and developing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; EEO/AA; performance management; department budget

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and familiarity with office productivity software and business control software such as SAP

The Applied AI and Machine Learning team handles large-scale data to support many business areas. We develop a cohesive navigation experience across channels and web pages. Our goal is to simplify and improve the shopping experience for everyday entrepreneurs worldwide, helping them quickly find what they need on our website.

In this leadership role, you will enhance the strategic direction of our experimentation methodology efforts. You will use simulations and reinforcement learning, ensuring consistency with business objectives, and supporting cross-functional teams in data-informed experimentation solutions. You will guide teams working at the intersection of large-scale foundation models, multi-agent systems, and RL-based optimization, encouraging a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence.

• Define and drive the strategic roadmap for AI driven experimentation methodology, aligning initiatives with organizational goals and business impact
• Supervise and mentor teams of scientists and engineers, providing technical guidance and career development
• Promote meticulous experimentation, including the development of simulation environments and robust evaluation frameworks using machine learning and RL
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to translate research outcomes into scalable, production-ready experimentation solutions
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and cultivate a collaborative, innovative environment across the Applied ML team and broader organization

Your experience should include...

• 3+ years of professional experience managing and leading high-performing teams, including mentoring and coaching team member to achieve organizational goals
• 5+ years of professional experience in experimentation methodology, Reinforcement Learning, and software development 
• 2 + years of professional with experimentation platforms, data pipelines, and analytical tools to guide methodological rigor
• A deep understanding of statistical principles, causal inference, and experimental design for large-scale digital products
• A track record of partnering effectively with experimentation platform teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to drive data-informed decision-making
• 5+ years of professional experience translating complex statistical concepts into actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences
• The ability to define and implement a vision for experimentation best practices across diverse product areas

• Master's in computer science or equivalent quantitative fields
