Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lean Coordinator at SCHERDEL North America, based in Muskegon, MI. The Lean Coordinator will be responsible for implementing and sustaining lean management principles, developing continuous improvement processes, and driving operational excellence across company operations. Additional responsibilities include analyzing data, utilizing lean tools, managing improvement projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding and application of Lean Management, Lean Tools, and principles of Operational Excellence
- Proficiency in Project Management to oversee and execute improvement initiatives effectively
- Exceptional Analytical Skills to evaluate processes, identify areas for optimization, and interpret data-driven insights

- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Knowledge of the manufacturing or metal-forming industry is an advantage

We are representing a FORTUNE 500 manufacturing organization who is actively seeking a SIte Continuous Improvement Director. Reporting to the General Manager, this candidate will be tasked developing Lean strategy and executing deployment driving margin through sustainment of plant KPI's/deliverables and waste elimination.
POSITION OVERVIEW
- Candidate will assume ownership over the Continuous Improvement function while reporting to VP/General Manager while leading a team of (4) direct reports.
- Direct the activities of the CI group including their interaction with operations, engineering, and maintenance/reliability function in an effort to drive site wide improvement.
- Lead capital management, inventory control, and others as required.
- Oversee CI development and training; facilitate special CI events activities to drive 6S, plant improvement performance in capitalizing on removing waste and improvement of yield, and production processes.
- Drives engagement with production personnel to participate suggest improvement opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to effect change in a manufacturing environment and ensure improvement activity is being communicated, understood, and supported within the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate groups and deliver continuous improvement training.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in technical field is preferred/degree required.
- Candidate should possess at least 5-10 years of CI/Lean manufacturing ownership in high speed manufacturing environment
- Highly organized, able to work with limited direction, aptitude for problem solving and analytical thinking supervision, motivated to successfully meet deadlines, attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Production Supervisor
A growing manufacturing operation is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead daily plant operations and drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance. This role is responsible for directing a unionized workforce, meeting production schedules, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop production employees to achieve operational goals
- Schedule labor and production to meet business and customer demands
- Monitor performance metrics; resolve safety, quality, maintenance, and productivity issues
- Promote and enforce EHS standards and safe work practices
