Position Summary

The Generator Technician is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing residential generator systems. This role involves hands-on technical work, customer interaction, and travel to job sites, including occasional overnight stays and participation in emergency response during major power outage events.


What You’ll Do
  • Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on air-cooled and liquid-cooled generator systems with minimal supervision
  • Troubleshoot and repair automatic transfer switches
  • Repair or replace generator accessories, including Smart Modules, remote monitors, and surge protection devices
  • Respond to urgent service requests and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
  • Support generator installation efforts as needed during high-demand or outage situations
  • Travel daily to customer locations, with occasional overnight travel during large outage events

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Fire alarm technician to join our team in our Georgia office. In this role, you will provide technical field support and service to our customers. The Opportunity

Working under general supervision in accordance with specific procedures and practices, may perform a combination of assembly, weld, x-ray, repair, and test operations on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, electronic systems, and related medical device assemblies. - Performs Electronic Assembly functions: Assembles, welds, solders and x-rays medical devices and related parts using microscopes and applicable tools;
- Locates and corrects problems by examining x-rays and performing visual inspection of parts; Repairs and tests units using computerized test equipment.
- Performs Casting/Coating functions: Examines medical devices and related assemblies after molding operations to locate bubbles, nicks and/or excess epoxy; Utilizes small drills, reamers, taps and knives to access bubbles and remove excess epoxy; Patches and repairs bubbles or voids using syringes and small tools; bakes parts to cure epoxy patches.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of relevant training/experience in the assembly of digital/analog circuitry, devices, components or equivalent.

- Experience must include at least one year in the bio-medical field or experience working in an air-conditioned clean room manufacturing environment requiring stringent environmental controls. Demonstrated manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
- Demonstrated use of standard hand tools used in the assembly of bio-instruments/bio-devices. Incumbents are required to work cooperatively and productively with others. About the Scool of Computing Instruction at the Georgia Institute of Technology

With more students graduating with a Computer Science degree than any other major at Georgia Tech and the Institute's requirement that every student complete at least one programming course, quality instruction on the foundations of computing has never been more important. The School of Computing Instruction (SCI) was created to serve these critical needs within Georgia Tech and beyond. Our award-winning teaching-focused faculty have three core missions:

Platform for Creativity and Innovation. SCI's creative faculty boldly experiment with new ideas and approaches to pedagogy, while continually re-examining proven methods to ensure their approach is effective and practical across a different set of courses and students. Ultimately, we consider SCI a platform for meaningful experimentation and invite collaborations both within and beyond Georgia Tech to further push the envelope in computing education.

Scalability of Computing Instruction. Job Summary

The School of Computing Instruction (SCI) at Georgia Institute of Technology within the College of Computing was recently founded to recognize the significant contributions of CS teaching-track faculty. We invite applications for multiple full-time and long-term faculty positions. The official appointment of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer will be made depending on past teaching experience. Both positions are offered with renewable contracts with an expectation to start in Jan 2025 on Georgia Institute of Technology Atlanta campus. Summer teaching for additional compensation is typically available. In addition, SCI faculty are typically allowed to teach at one of Georgia Tech's multiple study-abroad campuses (Berlin, Barcelona, Metz, etc.) during the summer.

The top candidates will be invited to Atlanta for an on-site interview, which involves giving a sample lecture.



Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to providing high-quality undergraduate teaching. Candidates will be expected to teach a 2-3 class load with the assistance of one teaching assistant for every 25 students. Opportunities to teach graduate courses are also available, as candidates will be matched to courses for which they are the best fit. In addition to teaching, there will be an expectation to participate in service at the School, College, and Institute level. Candidates are also encouraged to engage in scholarship and curriculum development. As part of its budget, SCI earmarks funding for these sorts of activities and makes it available to faculty.

The School of Mathematics at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for one postdoctoral research position in the mathematical foundations of Artificial Intelligence for Science for Fall 2026. The position consists of an annually renewable three-year research and teaching appointment as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the School of Mathematics and the position includes research funding. Responsible for baking pastries and bread in an institutional dining operation as well as catering operations.

The Woodruff School graduates high caliber mechanical engineers for a demanding profession. Mechanical engineers are the foundation of todays technological world. Plan and administer the academic advising processes within a college or school. After more than four years of planning and groundwork, the ambitious Tech Square Phase 3 (TS3) initiative is well underway. The Accounting Specialist is responsible for maintaining records, documents, and financial data that encompass a variety of financial activities, typically including fund accounts, payroll and benefits, accounts reconciliation, and similar supporting functions The associate also performs professional accounting work and other duties as assigned

Job Duty 1 - Research and ensure appropriate fund accounting procedures have been followed for compliance with Federal and State laws and university policy
Job Duty 2 - Audit, analyze, and verify fiscal records and reports Prepare financial and statistical reports, reconcile general ledger accounts and assist in preparing annual budgets Maintains complex spreadsheets

Responsible for library customer support (in person and electronic) which includes: providing assistance with myriad library services, providing bibliographic instruction and referrals, assistance with accessing library content and shared resources, providing user account management, and assisting with various technologies. Provides access and reference services support to GT library patrons, including fulfillment, reference, and multimedia. This position will interact on a regular basis with: faculty, students, staff, unit management, external communities, all internal and external Georgia Tech Library patrons. This position typically will advise and counsel: faculty, students, unit staff; all internal and external Georgia Tech Library patrons. This position will supervise: N/A



Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 - Proactively engaging and assisting library users in obtaining requested materials. Answers Customer Support Tickets. Provides assistance in requesting materials from offsite storage facility and shared resource providers. Direct users to library spaces, expertise, and resources. Assist users with lending technology reservations and instruct on the use of various media and audiovisual equipment.
Job Duty 2 - Use a variety of library-specific software programs to fulfill requests and update user records, switching between multiple system interfaces as necessary; systems including but not limited to: Alma, Primo, Student Information System (Banner), customer issue tracking system (Jira), and various databases and library resources.
Job Duty 3 - Participate in a variety of library projects and initiatives. Engage in learning opportunities with other Library areas to gain a broader knowledge of the services the organization provides.
Job Duty 4 - Interprets and applies library policies and procedures regarding user accounts and the circulation and access of materials both owned and shared.
Job Duty 5 - Provides access to Reserves, Reference, and Gadgets collections.
Job Duty 6 - Maintains accurate user account records while applying patron confidentiality principles.
Job Duty 7 - Assist library users in reference searches, locating and requesting materials, and providing general information regarding library resources.
Job Duty 8 - Provide basic technical support to users needing assistance with computers and peripherals in various library spaces including troubleshooting problems encountered, training in use of selected software and hardware, obtaining wireless access, and escalating issues through appropriate channels.

The Daniel Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for a Research Engineer II position. This role supports sponsored research in the modeling and simulation of turbulent reacting multiphase flows in propulsion and power systems.

The successful candidate will conduct high-fidelity computational research using Large Eddy Simulation (LES) and Direct Numerical Simulation (DNS) to investigate complex turbulent reacting flows in aerospace propulsion applications, including gas turbines, scramjets, and liquid rocket systems. Research activities are closely aligned with externally funded projects and include simulation development, model validation, data analysis, reporting, and dissemination of results.

This is a full-time research faculty appointment contingent upon sponsored funding.

Research Engineer II

Responsibilities
  • Conduct high-fidelity LES and DNS simulations of geometrically complex turbulent reacting flows relevant to propulsion and power systems

  • Develop, implement, and validate computational models and numerical methods within specialized research codes

  • Optimize and execute simulation cases on advanced high-performance computing platforms

  • Process, analyze, and interpret large simulation datasets

  • Support sponsored research deliverables, including milestone reporting and technical documentation

  • Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at technical conferences

  • Contribute to proposal development and expansion of externally funded research programs

  • Assist in mentoring graduate students and supporting broader research program activities



Required Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering and three (3) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of that degree, or
  • A Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering , and five (5) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of a Bachelor's degree, or
  • A Doctoral degree.

  • Record of peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations in fluid dynamics, combustion, or related fields

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary research environment and communicate technical results effectively

Job Summary

The Otte group ( ) at the School of Physics and the Center for Relativistic Astrophysics (CRA) at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for a postdoctoral position to work on the Trinity Neutrino Observatory, a next-generation experiment designed to detect ultra-high-energy neutrinos using air-shower imaging telescopes.

Trinity targets earth-skimming tau neutrinos above ~1 PeV through imaging of upward-going air showers near the horizon. The first phase of the project, the Trinity Demonstrator, is ongoing and has been in its physics data-taking phase for over a year, providing a timely opportunity to lead analyses while helping define the next stage of the experiment.

This is a full-time position, 40 hours weekly.

We seek a highly motivated candidate to play a central role in advancing Trinity's analysis and simulation program. The successful candidate will:

Lead the Monte Carlo simulation framework and analysis software development.

Lead analyses of Demonstrator data and drive publication efforts.

Help define the science reach, sensitivity projections, and performance requirements of Trinity One.

In addition, the candidate is expected to develop a strong and visible research program that connects Trinity's neutrino observations with the broader multi-messenger landscape, including gamma-ray, gravitational-wave, and cosmic-ray observatories.



Required Qualifications

Applicants must have:

  • A Ph.D. in Astroparticle Physics, High-Energy Physics, Astrophysics, or a closely related field.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Substantial experience in simulation and data analysis.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently within a collaborative research environment.

  • Experience with air-shower simulations, neutrino physics, statistical inference, detector modeling, or large-scale computing frameworks is highly desirable.

Job Duty 2 -
Develop and maintain data models, queries, and reports using SQL, Python, R, or data analysis tools to perform data cleansing, transformation, and visualization tasks.

Job Duty 3 -
Identify data quality issues, anomalies, and discrepancies in datasets, conduct data validation, data profiling, and data integrity checks to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

Job Duty 4 -
Create data visualizations, dashboards, and data analytics reports to communicate data findings, trends, and key metrics to stakeholders, management, and decision-makers.

Job Duty 5 -
Conduct ad-hoc data analysis, exploratory data analysis, and statistical analysis to support decision-making processes, performance monitoring, and data-driven insights.

Job Duty 6 -
Perform data mining, predictive analytics, and machine learning tasks to uncover hidden patterns, predict outcomes, and drive data-driven decision-making in organizations.

Job Duty 7 -
Utilize data analytics tools, business intelligence platforms, and statistical software packages to conduct data analysis, data modeling, and data visualization tasks efficiently and accurately.

Job Duty 8 -
Stay current on data analytics trends, tools, and methodologies through training, certifications, and industry publications to enhance data analysis skills and knowledge.

Job Duty 9 -
Collaborate with business users, data scientists, and Information Technology teams to define data requirements, analytics requirements, and data-driven solutions for business problems and opportunities.

Job Duty 10 -
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.



Responsibilities

The Institutional Research Data Analyst will also be expected to perform various duties specific to institutional research, including but not limited to:

  • Responding to intermediate to high difficulty/complexity ad-hoc data and analysis requests
  • Adhering to federal, state, and institutional policies, regulations, and requirements related to data security, privacy, and governance
  • Completing or supporting the completion of externally-driven compliance and data-related reporting including

    • Federal, e.g., IPEDS, NSF-HERD, NSF-GSS, etc.
    • State, e.g., USG data collections, data requests, etc.
    • Higher education organizations, e.g., AAUDE, SREB, NSC, accrediting bodies, etc.


Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced certification may be preferred or required (some profiles may require additional education).

Required Experience
Four or more years of relevant experience.



Proposed Salary

Annual Salary Range: $75,751 to $80,000
