As a Forklift Tire Technician, you will give input for customer service and operational improvement. • In-house and onsite installation of forklift and other material handling tires using a hydraulic tire press.
• Dismount, mount tires, and service the customer product as specified by the customer order.

• Report to the Service Manager immediately any material that does not meet quality standards, equipment that requires maintenance, delays at customer sites, potential issues with customer equipment before servicing, accidents or concerns about safety or other potential hazards.

• Maintains advanced knowledge to diagnose and repair mechanical problems on heavy equipment.
• Performs repair or preventative maintenance on electrical, diesel and gasoline vehicles, including compactor, excavator, wheel loader, and other vehicles to maximize safe and productive operations. Typical repairs and maintenance would include work on engines, transmissions, chassis, drivelines and body components, hydraulic, brake, electrical and suspension systems, wheels, tires and undercarriages.
• Reads and interprets equipment condition reports and/or repair orders, communicate with supervisor and/or operator for clarification of defects and discuss preventive techniques with operators to minimize future repairs.

• Lead or support cost reduction projects by implementing efficient and innovative manufacturing methods.
• Assist or lead in the development and implementation of lean processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain process documentation including work instructions, routings, validation protocols/reports, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret process data and develop solutions.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across functions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Internship, co-op, or industry experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
• Training or certification in Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma.
• Familiarity with CAD tools, data analysis software, and process/equipment validation methods (IQ, OQ, PQ).

Positions Available

• Travel: Full-time, monthly-scheduled travel to various cities. Flexible: update your monthly availability and work when you want!
• Per Diem: Work 1-5 days/week at any eligible location.
• In-Office: Evaluate veterans in your existing ADA-compliant office (within 50 miles of a listed location, worker’s comp insurance required). Great for clinics—multiple providers can contract under one business entity!

Job Overview

• Perform 1:1, in-person disability evaluations for veterans (no telemedicine).
• Assess if a veteran’s injury/condition is “more likely than not” service-related (the VA makes the final disability determination).
• No ongoing care, no prescribing, no long-term follow-up—focus on high-quality, objective assessments.
• Quick, straightforward onboarding and scheduling.
• Flexible for independent providers and clinics alike.

Minimum Requirements

• Unrestricted state license (free from discipline)

• Ability to complete documentation electronically
• For travel roles: minimum of 3 days of availability - prefer full-time.
