Job Summary

The Electrical Integrator L1 will provide technical support to program managers, project directors, task leads, and senior-level Electrical Integrators. The Electrical Integrator L1 will help with basic troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical cables, circuits, and assemblies.

This position will interact on a consistent basis with: faculty and staff project/task leaders, technical leads, contractors, and vendors

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Support program managers, project directors, and task leads with basic electrical assembly work such as cable assembly fabrication, and electrical chassis fabrication and assembly

Job Duty 2 -
Assist with basic testing and troubleshooting of circuits and systems

Job Duty 3 -
Assist with kitting parts using a Bill of Materials or other online inventory tools

Job Duty 4 -
Support other work teams, as needed, with skills such as mechanical assembly, welding, metal work, drafting, parts inventory, and technical documentation

The Role:

Data is one of Beazley's greatest assets and this roles is critical to supporting our Distribution and Marketing insights, which includes Customer, Broker and Marketing data. We're seeking a strategic and technically savvy Data Product Manager to lead the strategy, development and evolution of data products and insights that empower our distribution and marketing teams. This role is critical to aligning our data, unlocking insights, and informing growth opportunities across our specialty portfolio. Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the global Distribution and Marketing team to understand, prioritize and develop data products and insights that support their business strategy.

  • Build and own a roadmap to provide regular updates on delivery commitments for data products, insights, enhancements and queries.

  • Manage stakeholder relationships to support the growth strategy for Beazley customers, brokers, teams and products.

  • Produce insights and key data trendsthat highlight business performance, RoI, efficiencies and game-changing growth opportunities.

  • Relentlessly focus on the Distribution and Marketing team as a customer, delivering high quality data and insights that are clear and inspire action.

  • Partner with the Data Governance Group and CRM solution team (Customer Relationship Management) to drive improvements in our Customer and Broker data quality through MDM and other tools.

Salary for this role will be tailored to the successful individual's location and experience. The expected compensation range for this position is $130,000-$150,000 per year plus discretionary annual bonus.

ABOUT THE JOB:


The Construction Estimator will be responsible for accurate quantity surveys, preparation of subcontractor and vendor work scopes, quote analysis, and estimating the cost of self-perform work. The Estimator will be a self-starter and work efficiently with some supervision. The Estimator must be able to meet critical deadlines and have the ability to work as part of a team. Other duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Aid in developing full-scope cost estimates based on proposal documentation on a variety of negotiated bids, hard bids, design-build and GMP projects for various public and private clients
  • Interpret and analyze project drawings and technical specifications, proposals and other documentation
  • Responsible for accurate, detailed quantity take-offs from project drawings and technical specifications
  • Assist in developing the initial project plan and project execution schedule
  • Responsible for the preparation and documentation of project estimate following estimating policy and procedures
  • Prepare detailed, comprehensive subcontractor and vendor work scopes
  • Solicit subcontractor and vendor quotations
  • Analyze and compare subcontractor and vendor quotations. Liaise with subcontractors and vendors for clarification of issues and scope

Duties and Responsibilities

As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA) you will perform aviation-based law enforcement operations for the detection, prevention, interdiction, and apprehension of terrorists, terrorist weapons, and other contraband and persons from illegally entering or attacking the United States. Typical duties include:

  • Conducting air patrol, surveillance, and pursuit activities related to the interdiction of smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels.
  • Monitoring behavior patterns and activities of suspect persons, vehicles, or vessels believed to be engaged in illegal activities.
  • Collecting, refining, and analyzing strategic and tactical intelligence.
  • Supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.

Salary and Benefits

Begin your career as an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA) and make up to $85,270 to - $110,846 per year based on your qualifications for the GS-11 grade level and possible extra compensation based on your duty location (see below).

Recruitment Incentive:New hires may be eligible to receive a one-time Recruitment Incentive payout of $10,000 after completing Federal Law Enforcement Training Academy (FLETC) (1 year service agreement will need to be completed) (Recruitment Incentive is only available to new Federal employees as described in 5 CFR 575.102. Your starting salary will include Special Salary Rate (SSR); Law Enforcement Availability Pay (LEAP); Recruitment Incentive; and Retention Incentive.

This career ladder position has a grade level progression of GS-11, GS-12, and GS-13. You may be eligible for a promotion to the next higher grade level automatically (without re-applying) once you complete 52 weeks at each grade level (with supervisor approval).

Qualifications

Experience:You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized professional aviation experience performing duties such as:

  • Flying as a Pilot-in-Command or sole manipulator in an airplane and helicopter in all environments of flight, including night, poor weather, unfavorable terrain, low altitudes, or speed.
  • Evaluating information rapidly and making judicious decisions promptly during in-flight operations.
  • Developing strategies and coordinating aircraft and ground assets.
  • Using information systems and databases to conduct information surveys, queries, update files and disseminate information.
  • Experience may include Operation of an aircraft as Captain, Pilot in Command, Aircraft Commander, First Officer, Certified Flight Instructor, Second in Command, or Co-pilot.

Hiring Minimums:

Certification & Ratings: A current FAA Commercial or ATP Pilot Certification with one of the following ratings:

  • Dual Rated: Airplane (Single-engine land or multi-engine land) with instrument rating AND Rotorcraft Helicopter with instrument rating.
  • Airplane Rated: Airplane (Single-engine land or multi-engine land) with instrument.

A successful candidate will develop an in-depth knowledge of specialized surface treatment process/corrosion testing, while providing technical expertise/support to routine tests and non-routine experiments.

Responsibilities Responsibilities will include the following: This Field Engineer position involves the extensive travel required within the region to gain real world construction engineering and management experience.

This experience provides the highly qualified civil engineer an opportunity to learn first-hand the complex world of Geotechnical and Deep Foundation Construction.
