Tulane University School of Medicine is seeking a motivated clinician/educator or a physician scientist at the rank of Assistant Professor to care for patients within intensive care units at University Medical Center. This position also affords the option to engage in pulmonary clinics and consult service.

Tulane University is consistently ranked among the nation's top research universities, particularly in the South. Our section of pulmonary and critical care medicine is a collaborative group that consists of 40 clinical and research faculty. Our faculty members provide services at University Medical Center of New Orleans, East Jefferson General Hospital and the Southeast Louisiana Health Care System. Our combined hospitals share a training program that includes 14 pulmonary/critical care fellows. This position will require a split of day and night shift in house coverage for the CVSICU service. Unique research opportunities include a close working relationship with the School of Public Health, Department of Immunology, Center for Aging, Biomedical Engineering and the Tulane Primate Center. Description

Creates job packages from the work order scope which contains all of the information regarding required labor material and services to ensure safe, effective and efficient execution of the work. Requires advanced skills and expertise in a range of processes, procedures, and systems, and or specialized technical expertise within an analytical scientific method or operational process to perform a broad range of complex work assignments. May act as a working team lead, providing subject matter guidance and coordinating work of others. Collaborate with

Operations Turnaround Coordinator, Lead Planner (strategy and quality), Cost Controller (accurate cost estimates) and Scheduler (integration into master schedule)

Responsibilities Duties:

• Uses feedback from the person doing the work to optimize the work plans.
• Reviews work orders for technical completeness and returns work orders to gatekeeper, if not complete.
• Carries out field checks, when needed.
• Prepares job package and inputs plan into Global Engineering and Maintenance Tracking System (GEMTS) indicating the required resources, materials, and services.
• Identifies task activities necessary to execute job plan, and identifies materials tools equipment required to perform tasks.
• Identifies solicits safety information and requirements necessary to safely perform tasks.
• Supports Maintenance Procedure Use Policy by ensuring all job packages include a procedure or the task is on the Procedure Exemption list before the job package is released.
• Checks that all Maintenance Procedures include a hazard assessment.
• Serves as a technical resource during procedure creation and review, as needed.
• Creates, develops, changes, updates job procedures and checklists, and initiates procedure Management of Change (MOC), as required.

Experience:

• Prior field experience (mechanical/piping work)
• Planning experience
• Computer skills (Excel, SAP, Primavera P6)
• Scheduling experience preferred not required
• Education: High school diploma required.
• Short-Cycle Tertiary Degree (i.e. Associate's Degree) preferred

The Senior Data Manager identifies all data deliverables made part of a contract and subsequently builds a data track in a Product Data Management (PDM) system. The DM identifies, with help from the Program Office, the appropriate preparers, receive the data within PDM, reviews the data for compliance, solicits and secures appropriate programmatic approval and delivers the information to the customer on time, throughout the lifecycle of the contract.

In addition, DMs are responsible for reviewing sub-tier contractor requirements, building data tracks for supplier submissions, receiving data from various suppliers, and routing for approval and/or incorporation into prime contractor deliverables to the customer as well as securing non-deliverable program work products to be configuration controlled in the PDM system and other related tasking.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience related to data management and/or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a customer support/service role
