FOR ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER

• Engineering degree and 5 years of previous experience in project engineering or design, project controls, or project management, electrical engineering background/knowledge of Utility Interconnect Application process a plus
• PMP Certification / Training a plus
• Advanced computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software, such as MS Office Suite
• Advanced knowledge of MS Project

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, safety codes, and regulatory compliance. • Manage financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with the client. Ensure costs on each project assigned are allocated properly, and accurately recorded.
• Ensure procurement practices are followed related to materials, subcontracts, and other required construction expenditures.

Position Summary

The Estimating Department is responsible for producing project-specific construction estimates based on client requirements.

As an Electrical Estimator, you will:

-Develop accurate and timely electrical construction estimates for bids and proposals using McCormick

Estimating Software.

-Analyze and interpret detailed drawings and specifications.

-Perform quantity takeoffs and correctly input data into estimating software.

-Evaluate and price value-engineered alternatives to plans and specifications.
