Duties and Responsibilities
As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA) you will perform aviation-based law enforcement operations for the detection, prevention, interdiction, and apprehension of terrorists, terrorist weapons, and other contraband and persons from illegally entering or attacking the United States. Typical duties include:
- Conducting air patrol, surveillance, and pursuit activities related to the interdiction of smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels.
- Monitoring behavior patterns and activities of suspect persons, vehicles, or vessels believed to be engaged in illegal activities.
- Collecting, refining, and analyzing strategic and tactical intelligence.
- Supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.
Salary and Benefits
Begin your career as an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA) and make up to $85,270 to - $110,846 per year based on your qualifications for the GS-11 grade level and possible extra compensation based on your duty location (see below).

Qualifications
Experience:You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized professional aviation experience performing duties such as:
- Flying as a Pilot-in-Command or sole manipulator in an airplane and helicopter in all environments of flight, including night, poor weather, unfavorable terrain, low altitudes, or speed.
- Evaluating information rapidly and making judicious decisions promptly during in-flight operations.
- Developing strategies and coordinating aircraft and ground assets.
- Using information systems and databases to conduct information surveys, queries, update files and disseminate information.
- Experience may include Operation of an aircraft as Captain, Pilot in Command, Aircraft Commander, First Officer, Certified Flight Instructor, Second in Command, or Co-pilot.
Hiring Minimums:
Certification & Ratings: A current FAA Commercial or ATP Pilot Certification with one of the following ratings:
- Dual Rated: Airplane (Single-engine land or multi-engine land) with instrument rating AND Rotorcraft Helicopter with instrument rating.
- Airplane Rated: Airplane (Single-engine land or multi-engine land) with instrument.
- Helicopter Rated: Rotorcraft Helicopter with instrument rating.
- Equivalent military rating of the above at the time of application (eligibility based on military flight experience must provide official orders, forms or logbooks showing their status as a rated military pilot).
Flight Hours: Pilot Enter on Duty minimums are 1500 flight hours; (up to 500 hours can be waived, reducing the pilot enter on duty minimums to 1000 hours.
250 Pilot-in-Command hours; 75 Instrument hours; 75 Night hours (Flight Hour Waiver available, see Required Documents); and 100 Flight hours in the last 12 months This qualification requirement is currently being waived by OPM through August 5, 2025.
FAA Class 2 medical required for assessment dated within the last 12 calendar months; FAA Class 1, FAA Class 2 or Military medical flight clearance dated within the last 12 months qualifies to start the pre-employment process for the AIA position.
Apply at 750 hours total time: Applicants applying at 750 flight hours are required to obtain at least 1,000 flight hours (depending on the number of hours approved for a waiver) at their own expense before being able to attend the 3-part flight assessment. Applicants must still meet 250 Pilot-in-Command, 75 instrument, and 75-night hours (100 flight hours in the last 12 months. This qualification requirement is currently being waived by OPM through August 4, 2026)
UAS Flight Hours:Applicants may include UAS Predator A (MQ-1), Predator B (MQ-9) flight hours and Predator A (MQ-1), Predator B (MQ-9) or predator-based flight hours. These hours may be credited towards satisfying the ""Total flight time"" 1,500 flight hour requirement only. UAS hours do not count towards the 250 flight hours as a Pilot in Command, 75 flight hours Instrument, and 75 flight hours Night. Flight hour logbooks will be required at the time of your Flight Assessment for verification.
Other Requirements
Citizenship: You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply for this position.

This age restriction may not apply if you are currently serving in a federal civilian (not military) law enforcement position covered by Title 5 U.S.C. 8336(c) or Title 5 U.S.C. 8412(d).

A degree from a four-year college or university is a minimum educational requirement to become a Commissioned Officer. Part-Time Opportunities
There are part-time opportunities available as an Information Professional Officer.
Serving part-time as a Navy Reserve Sailor, your duties will be carried out during your scheduled drilling and training periods. During monthly drilling, Information Professional Officers in the Navy Reserve typically work at a location close to their homes.
For annual training, Information Professional Officers may serve anywhere in the world, whether on a ship at sea or at bases and installations on shore.

For those pursuing a Naval Reactors Engineer position, the first step is Officer Development School (ODS) in Newport, RI - a 5-week course of instruction in Newport, RI, that provides a comprehensive and intense introduction to the responsibilities of being a Naval Officer.
Upon completion of ODS, newly commissioned Ensigns move on to receive initial training at Naval Reactors Headquarters in Washington, D.C. (9 weeks of instruction) and Nuclear Power Training Unit (2 weeks of instruction) that form the basis for more advanced academic work. Officers then attend Bettis Reactor Engineering School (BRES), a 6-month postgraduate-level education in nuclear engineering at Naval Nuclear Labs just outside Pittsburgh, PA. This is followed by approximately three weeks spent gaining a working background at one of the Navy's shipyards in either Newport News, VA, or Bremerton, WA.
Following the training pipeline, Naval Reactors Engineers are then assigned a Nuclear Engineer position with the group responsible for managing all technical aspects of the Naval Nuclear Propulsion program-reviewing, approving and confirming the design, operation and maintenance of nearly 100 nuclear reactors. Continuing education is required for the next six months as Engineers start in a junior role under a supervisor and rapidly advance to take on increasing responsibilities and complete their 5-year commitment.

Surface Warfare Officers (SWOs) are involved in virtually every aspect of Navy missions. As a SWO, you may be in charge of any number of shipboard operations and activities while at sea, working with or within any of these specialized forces:
Aircraft Carrier Forces: Provide and coordinate air, submarine and surface ship defense for aircraft carriers.
Cruiser-Destroyer Forces: Provide ship attack and defensive measures with a wide array of missile and fire power capabilities, providing anti-air, -submarine and -surface warfare support.
Amphibious Forces: Embark and transport vehicles, equipment and personnel for amphibious assault operations.

Work Environment
As a Surface Warfare Officer, you will work at sea and on shore, in a variety of environments. Sea duty could place you aboard ships within the fleet. Those pursuing an Information Professional Officer position are required to attend Officer Candidate School (OCS) in Newport, RI.
Unless they have already been commissioned through the Naval Academy or ROTC, those pursuing a Surface Warfare Officer position are required to attend Officer Candidate School. Newly commissioned SWOs can expect an advanced training process that includes comprehensive training at sea and ashore.
Newly commissioned Surface Warfare Officers will be assigned to a surface ship, leading a team of Sailors responsible for a component of the ship - anything from electronics to weapons to engineering systems. In this setting, Officers are working toward full Surface Warfare qualification.
After completing these initial sea tours, Surface Warfare Officers may be selected to serve on high-level staffs, commands or strategic projects or they may be selected to work in recruitment. The ultimate goal for many: to one day command their own ship.

About the Role
A well-established advanced manufacturing organisation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with strong TIG welding experience to support welding processes within a high-mix precision manufacturing environment.
This role focuses on developing, improving, and supporting GTAW (TIG) and orbital welding processes used in stainless steel tubing assemblies and precision components. The position works closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to ensure welding operations are robust, repeatable, and suitable for scaled manufacturing.

Work includes shop and field inspection, documentation control, coordination of NDE activities, and support of quality management systems.

Join our team as a Project Scheduler, where you will play a key role in planning, monitoring, and optimizing project timelines to ensure successful project delivery. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Project Directors, Project Managers, and cross-functional teams to drive schedule performance, identify risks, and support timely execution across all project phases. This position follows a hybrid work schedule based at our Hudson, WI facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive scheduling management system in collaboration with Project Directors and Project Managers
- Manage and coordinate multiple project schedules simultaneously across various project phases
- Establish and maintain baseline schedules, including activity durations, resource allocation, and critical path analysis
- Collaborate with Design, Procurement, Construction, and Workshop teams to continuously update schedule changes and ensure alignment
- Monitor actual project progress against contractual milestones and support Project and Contract Managers in identifying risks, delays, and opportunities
- Perform earned value analysis (EVA) to track project performance and forecast outcomes
- Conduct Time Impact Analyses (TIA) to evaluate potential delays and recommend recovery or mitigation strategies
- Maintain strong communication across project teams to proactively identify issues, bottlenecks, or risks impacting the schedule
- Participate in project meetings related to contractual schedule changes with customers and suppliers
- Contribute to final project reporting, including schedule performance analysis and lessons learned for continuous improvement
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field β or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a project planning or scheduling role
- Strong understanding of all project lifecycle phases, including engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning
- Exposure to manufacturing or OEM operations environments
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project or similar project scheduling software

Qualifications you'll bring as a Mechanic II:
- Have High School Diploma or GED. Trade school graduate in heavy duty diesel repairs, and/or refrigeration
classes is preferred. Beginning level is preferred. - Have 1-2 years job experience on diesel repairs, tractor- trailer, refrigeration maintenance and repairs.
- One year documented experience in fleet maintenance or one-year employment with company at upper scale of Class C Technician.
- Possess basic hand tools (up to Β½" drive) and tool storage.
- Possess or acquire within 1 year from date of hire a current ASE certification in Medium/Heavy Truck Preventative Maintenance Inspection (PMI) (Test T8).
- Possess a Valid Class C Driver's License. A Class A license is preferred but not required.
- Stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, grasp and reach above the head for extended periods of time.
- Preferred certifications:
- Certification in Transportation Refrigeration.
- Brake Systems and components.
- Tractor A/C Refrigeration and Freon Recovery (609 license required).
