Summary:

Provides direct and indirect services to the GI patient under the supervision of the professional nurse and performs tasks as necessary for the efficient and effective functioning of the GI room, as well as the delivery of quality of care. Responsible for the preparation, maintenance, and cleaning of equipment and supplies and may assist in performing invasive endoscopic procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Supports and assists physicians and registered nurses with procedures as directed.
• Verifies proper equipment functioning and performs safety checks.
• Maintains endoscopic equipment and prepares broken scopes to be sent for repairs.
• Collects and delivers specimens collected during procedures, ensuring the field remains sterile.
• Assist with placing monitors on patient.
• Distributes information regarding equipment or instruments at in-service training sessions.
• Validates and refreshes basic professional skills through active participation at in-service trainings.

• Sterilizes and prepares rooms and equipment, such as scopes, before and after procedures as directed.

• Recognizes emergent situations during endoscopy procedures and demonstrates the ability to set priorities to assist the endoscopy team.
• Assists with therapeutic interventions such as balloon dilations, polypectomy, sphincterotomy, stent placement, and gastrostomy tube placement.
• Coordinates review of special-order supply inventory and ensures rooms are stocked for next day procedures.
• Independently completes annual competencies and any additional competencies related to new procedures.

Summary:

Provides continual surveillance of electronic monitors for one or more patients in a centralized telemetry monitoring station, with the ability to recognize normal and abnormal rhythms. Documents changes in rhythm and reports these changes timely and according to established protocol. Requires thorough knowledge of arrhythmia recognition. Responsible for assuring monitoring equipment and supplies are available and ready for use. May also provide pulse oximetry monitoring and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for constant electro-cardiographic monitoring of patients. Is aware of baseline rhythm for all patients being monitored.
• Communicates changes in rhythms, ectopy, etc., immediately to appropriate Nursing staff;
  ensures all communications are documented appropriately.
• Provides accurate documentation of information obtained from the cardiac monitoring equipment.
• May be required to log pulse oximetry readings and report any alarms and/or deviation from normal parameters to the healthcare team.
• Accurately performs clerical tasks related to the patient’s medical record, places reports (strip reviews, alarm records) on the medical record in a timely manner if applicable for the facility/location.
• Communicates effectively with interdisciplinary team. Communicates appropriately with physicians, staff members, and patient/family members. Facilitates communication to appropriate caregivers.
• Responsible for assuring equipment and supplies are available and ready for use. Demonstrates good stewardship in proper use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
• Performs assigned department maintenance duties. Ensures equipment is clean and functioning properly. Notifies Director and/or Biomedical Engineering of any malfunctions in a timely manner.
• Demonstrates professionalism in teamwork and communication.
• Performs all duties in a manner that protects the confidentiality of patients in adherence with HIPAA.

The Quality Manager leads and continuously improves the company’s Quality processes, procedures, and systems, ensuring compliance with AS9100, ITAR, customer-specific, and regulatory requirements. This role serves as the primary quality interface for customers, overseeing audits, managing corrective actions, and ensuring alignment on product quality expectations.

The Quality Manager will work cross-functionally with Operations and Engineering to drive root cause analysis, continuous improvement initiatives, and audit readiness while supporting successful product launches and ongoing production compliance. Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.

• 7+ years of quality management experience in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing environments.

• Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, ITAR, and related regulatory standards.

• Proven experience leading internal and external audits.

• Familiarity with QMS software, ERP systems (JobBOSS preferred), and document control systems.

• Excellent understanding of quality tools and methodologies (FMEA, 8D, 5 Whys, SPC, CAPA, PPAP, etc.).

• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills both internally and externally.
