Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of the division’s Quality Management System (QMS), including creating procedures for raw material acceptance, in-process evaluation, and final product inspection.
• Lead or conduct investigations and corrective actions for significant defects and customer complaints.
• Promote and lead cost reduction activities to minimize waste, scrap, and rework, which will directly reduce the business unit's cost of poor quality (COPQ).
• Maintain and manage quality control instruments and testing equipment.
• Provide direction and mentorship to Quality Department personnel
• Ensure compliance with the QMS by providing training and conducting audits.
• Regularly report on program progress, investigation findings, root causes, and corrective actions to the Division Leadership Team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management or Business Administration required.
• Extensive experience in implementing a QMS, especially from the ground up.
• Experience in ISO certified facilities, with a strong preference for candidates with prior ISO 9001 implementation experience.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with a strong focus on project leadership.
• Six Sigma/Black Belt is a plus.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead and maintain our quality management systems within a precision machine shop environment. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards, driving continuous improvement, and overseeing all quality-related activities across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of machining processes, demonstrated success managing audits, and a proactive, hands-on approach to quality leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Quality System Management

• Lead, maintain, and improve the company’s ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certified quality management systems.
• Serve as the primary contact for audits (internal, external, customer, and third-party).
• Ensure documentation, procedures, and processes remain compliant and fully up to date.
• Oversee corrective and preventive action (CAPA) systems and ensure timely closure of nonconformities.

Operational Quality Leadership

• Develop and implement quality policies, objectives, and KPIs aligned with organizational goals.

Supplier & Customer Interface

• Qualify and monitor suppliers according to ISO/IATF requirements.
• Support customer quality requirements, including PPAP, APQP, control plans, and FMEA processes.
• Respond to customer complaints with structured analysis and corrective actions.

Team Leadership

• Supervise and develop the Quality team (inspectors, technicians, auditors).
• Provide training on quality standards, inspection methods, and process control tools.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5–7 years of Quality experience in a machine shop or precision manufacturing environment.

• Use your industry experience to own and drive resolution and retest complex security events, policy questions and technical security risks.

Your experience should include...

• 7+ years of progressive security engineering experience across Security Architecture, Cryptography, Network, Cloud, Mobile, and Web Security.
• Skilled in Secure Development Lifecycle, Security by Design, and Shift Left methodologies.
• Proficient in Threat Modeling, Architecture Review, Penetration Testing, Code Review, SAST, and DAST.
• Strong scripting abilities in languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, Ruby, and PowerShell.
• Adept at applying security best practices for compliance, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

You might also have...

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• Hosting industry and/or cloud Experience.
• Experience in hardware security.
