Lean Manager

Role Summary

The Lean Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence within the plant by deploying Lean manufacturing principles focused on fulfilling customer demand, eliminating waste, and enabling continuous improvement. This role partners closely with plant leadership to define and implement the Lean roadmap aligned with regional and global operational strategies.

The Lean Manager leads initiatives to improve production flow, optimize plant layouts, enhance material movement, and strengthen overall operational efficiency. This role also develops Lean capabilities within the organization by coaching teams, facilitating improvement workshops, and ensuring alignment with the MANN+HUMMEL Production System (MHPS).

Main Tasks

• Define and implement the plant Lean roadmap aligned with plant, regional, and global strategy.

• Partner with plant leadership to identify and execute operational improvement initiatives.

• Lead value stream design and plant layout optimization to improve material flow, space utilization, and throughput time.

• Drive productivity improvements using Lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices.

• Facilitate improvement workshops including Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and 5S.

• Develop Lean capabilities across the plant by coaching teams and promoting a continuous improvement mindset.

• Support implementation and sustainment of the MANN+HUMMEL Production System (MHPS).

• Promote best practices across production and logistics operations to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

• Monitor and report progress on operational metrics and improvement initiatives.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Lean improvements and coach managers on Lean tools.

Lean Tools & Methodologies

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Operations Environments.

• Prior leadership experience in production or logistics environments preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Experience implementing Lean systems across production and logistics operations.

• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional improvement initiatives and deliver measurable results.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to influence stakeholders and coach teams on Lean practices.

• Hands-on, shopfloor-oriented approach.

Preferred Experience

Salary and Pay Transparency

Salary range for this position is between $75,000 and $111,000. Base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs and market demands. Do you want to be an Information Security Leader at GoDaddy? GoDaddy's Product Security group is looking for a Principal Security Engineer to join our organization. Can you solve large scale and cross-company issues, while ensuring that partnership with the development and operational communities remains in front of mind?

GoDaddy is looking for a Principal Security Engineer to apply their hands-on technical skills, strong leadership abilities, and an eagerness to design solutions to complex problems. You must be comfortable with communicating to stakeholders, performing security assessments and prioritizing security risks, creating/presenting high-quality deliverables.

What you'll get to do...

• Identify security threats in applications and infrastructure and provide remediation mentorship to system owners.
• Join forces with SRE and development teams to find new and creative ways to reduce the occurrence of vulnerabilities at scale.
• Build repeatable/reusable security processes and frameworks.
• Review quality issues and work towards detecting security flaws both obvious and discrete.
• Assist with scoping prospective projects, participating in projects from kickoff through "definition of done" via end-to-end ownership.
• Use your industry experience to own and drive resolution and retest complex security events, policy questions and technical security risks.

Your experience should include...

• 7+ years of progressive security engineering experience across Security Architecture, Cryptography, Network, Cloud, Mobile, and Web Security.
• Skilled in Secure Development Lifecycle, Security by Design, and Shift Left methodologies.
• Proficient in Threat Modeling, Architecture Review, Penetration Testing, Code Review, SAST, and DAST.
• Strong scripting abilities in languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, Ruby, and PowerShell.
• Adept at applying security best practices for compliance, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

You might also have...

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• Hosting industry and/or cloud Experience.
• Experience in hardware security.
