Position Summary: 

The Senior Safety Manager is one of the most important roles in our organization. Under general direction of the Director of Safety, the Senior Safety Manager has responsibility for the development, communication, implementation, and monitoring of the health and safety programs for the entire Company. This position ensures compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and is the subject matter expert for internal and external matters relating to occupational safety and health related issues. The Senior Safety Manager assists the Director of Safety in implementing the strategic vision for health and safety for all SPAN and related entities. This position requires strong leadership skills and is the embodiment of safety as one of the Company’s Core Values.

Senior Safety Manager Responsibilities: 

• Prioritizes safety as the utmost importance and promotes a culture throughout the field that makes safety the primary focus for all employees at all times.

• Fosters and enforces a culture of safety ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws and regulations.

• Manages safety incentive programs which reward targeted behaviors and results.

• Inspects safety equipment and recommends replacements.

• Conducts investigations, e.g., root cause analyses, accident investigations, witness statements, and other investigations.

• Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions and conclusions, and monitors results to make improvements or take corrective action.

• Identifies opportunities to minimize workplace injuries, accidents, and health problems.

• Leads and manages the safety staff, and develops a highly performing, customer-oriented work team through hiring, motivating, coaching, appraising, rewarding, and disciplining.

• Addresses complaints and resolves issues related to safety team members.

• Reviews safety training and recommends revisions, improvements, and updates.

• Leads incident investigations.

• Consults building codes, governmental regulations, and other emergency response agencies.

• Reviews accidents and incidents reported by employees and visitors.

• Reports workplace injuries to Human Resources and Workers’ Compensation Administrator for appropriate processing of workers’ compensation claims and to ensure interactive process with injured employees occurs.

Skills and Abilities:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related field is strongly preferred but not required. Sufficient experience may be substituted for educational background

Experience: At least 7.5 years of construction safety experience.

Experience overseeing large commercial and/or industrial projects.

Strong experience with federal, state, regional, and local laws and regulations related to the construction industry.

Computer/Technology Experience: Proficient with Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams).

Proficient with PC, cell phone, and company communication tools (e.g., e-mail, internet, etc.)

Smartsheet experience is a plus but not required (training will be provided).

Certifications & Licenses: Must have a valid drivers’ license. Must be able to be insured on the Company’s insurance policy as a driver for the Company.

Must be willing and capable of testing and obtaining necessary certifications such as:

• OSHA 500 certification.

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.

• Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certification.

• First Aid/CPR/AED certification.

Other requirements: Able to perform work at elevations in excess of 30 feet.

Able to stand, walk, climb, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Position Summary:

­Manage and supervise, at a project level, engineering and administrative policies, procedures, and functions. Coordinate with field operations to ensure transfer of information is delivered, understood, and implemented.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide support to Project Management staff for all aspects of projects.
• Monitor job progress and update schedules. Coordinate activities and subcontractors.
• Review design, specifications, project execution, and provide recommendations for actions.
• Demonstrate an understanding of conceptual estimating and unit costs.
• Assist with subcontractor selection process and buy out including the development and execution of subcontract agreements. Demonstrate an understanding of contract terms and the ability to resolve any subcontract issues with minimal oversight.

• Manage all OAC activities; including meetings and all other communication with these groups, to ensure positive, long-term relationships are maintained.

Pay Range: $90,000 – $195,000 per year. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.

We are seeking skilled Make-Ready Designers (primary focus) and Power Distribution Designers to support engineering programs for major electric and telecom utilities. Ideal candidates bring demonstrated experience in overhead utility pole design, NESC application, clearance assessment, pole loading analysis, and construction package development. Useful design platforms include DDS, Katapult, O-Calc, GIS, MicroStation, AutoCAD, or client-specific drafting systems.

In this role, you will review field/walkout data, evaluate existing attachment conditions, model pole loading, determine make-ready requirements, and prepare accurate construction-ready deliverables. Applicants without utility pole design or distribution engineering experience will not be considered.

Note: This position is remote, but new hires must attend a 2-week paid, in-person orientation at our Perrysburg, OH headquarters.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Execute overhead distribution and make-ready design work orders while meeting quality, time, and budget expectations
• Apply established engineering design standards, NESC requirements, and internal processes
• Perform end-to-end make-ready, joint-use, and/or general distribution design
• Conduct permitting and easement research (pole ownership, ROW, property rights, approvals)
• Collaborate with team members to resolve design challenges and ensure accurate deliverables
• Use design software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, DDS, PoleForeman, O-Calc, Katapult, or client systems
• Perform quality control reviews when required
• Support additional duties as assigned

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree or higher in engineering, drafting, or a related field is preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in make-ready engineering, joint-use design, or electric power distribution design (3+ years strongly preferred)
• Proven experience in utility pole design, including NESC application, clearance analysis, pole loading concepts, and preparation of construction-ready design packages
• Proficiency with CAD or MicroStation; experience with DDS, Katapult, O-Calc, or similar utility design platforms is strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of power distribution construction practices, with the ability to learn utility-specific proprietary systems efficiently
• Must hold a valid driver’s license, maintain active auto insurance, and pass all required background, drug, and MVR screenings
• Authorization to work in the United States is required
• Willingness to travel occasionally, including minimal overnight travel when project needs require
• Ability to work a standard Monday–Friday schedule aligned to Eastern Time, with Central/Mountain/Pacific adjustments as appropriate

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to work for extended periods using a computer keyboard, monitor, and telephone
• Ability to prepare and analyze data, review detailed information, and work with design tools requiring close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
• Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written channels

Role Overview

As a Patient Support Nurse at CareSimple, you will serve as a key liaison between our patients and clinical partners. You’ll build ongoing relationships with patients, conduct proactive outreach, monitor and respond to patient-generated health data alerts, and provide compassionate clinical guidance to help patients stay engaged and safe between provider visits. You’ll also guide patients through onboarding and device setup, address questions and concerns, and escalate clinical issues as needed. Utilizing our support ticket system, you will manage key logistics processes to ensure seamless delivery and support for remote monitoring devices, playing a critical role in the success of our RPM programs.

Responsibilities

• Patient Support & Care: Guide patients through initial onboarding and setup of their RPM devices with empathy and professionalism. Provide ongoing patient care touchpoints — answering clinical questions, offering health education, and supporting patient engagement and adherence throughout the monitoring program.
• Patient Alert Management: Monitor incoming patient health data alerts generated by RPM devices (e.g., out-of-range vitals, missed readings). Assess alert severity, apply clinical judgment to determine appropriate response, and take action following established protocols and clinical judgement, whether that’s direct patient outreach, care coordination, or escalation to the provider team.
• Technical Coordination: Provide basic troubleshooting for cellular-enabled devices and escalate issues via internal support tickets. Work cross-functionally to ensure timely resolution of technical concerns.
• Device Logistics Oversight: Coordinate device ordering and fulfillment, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Manage exceptions (e.g., reshipments, replacements, returns) and monitor the glucose supply auto-replenishment program. Track high-priority orders and proactively address risks to prevent delays.
• Documentation: Ensure clear and timely documentation across internal systems and, when applicable, in the customer’s EHR.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
• Preferred: Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written)
• Preferred: Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) or Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) certification
• 5+ years of clinical experience, preferably in telehealth, home health, or primary care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working with seniors and underserved populations
• Technologically confident, with the ability to work across multiple platforms (EHR, ticketing, telehealth)
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
