Essential Job Summary::The Level B Fleet Mechanic/Technician is a journeyman-level role responsible for independent diagnosis and repair of most mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on refuse trucks, heavy trucks/tractors, trailers, and heavy equipment. This role also mentors Level C technicians, supports road calls, and ensures high uptime and DOT compliance for the fleet.
Essential Job Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.:Diagnostics & Repair
- Independently diagnose and repair:
- Diesel and gasoline engines (intake, fuel, cooling, aftertreatment/emissions components).
- Drivetrain components including clutches, transmissions, differentials, PTOs, and drive lines.
- Air and hydraulic brake systems, ABS, and suspension components.
- Hydraulic systems on refuse equipment (packer bodies, arms, cylinders, pumps, valves, and hose routing).
- Electrical systems including starting/charging, multiplex wiring, sensors, and lighting.
Preventive Maintenance & Compliance
- Perform and sign off on DOT-compliant inspections and PMs, ensuring all safety-critical items are addressed and documented.
- Accurately interpret and close out DVIR/eDVIR defects; communicate recurring defects to leadership for root-cause analysis.
- Use OEM and aftermarket diagnostic software, service bulletins, and wiring schematics to troubleshoot complex issues.
Road Calls & Operational Support
- Respond to road calls and breakdowns throughout the NYC tri-state area; perform safe temporary or permanent repairs to return vehicles to service or coordinate towing as needed.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch, supervisors, and drivers on repair status and estimated completion times.
Mentorship, Training & Documentation
- Guide and mentor Level C technicians on best practices, safety, troubleshooting, and proper repair methods.
- Complete work orders thoroughly, capturing complaint, cause, correction, labor hours, and parts used.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for PM compliance, repeat repair reduction, and parts standardization.
- Independently diagnose and repair:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3–5+ years hands-on experience as a diesel, truck, or heavy equipment mechanic/technician, including diagnostics and major component replacement.
- Valid CDL Class B (or higher) with air brake endorsement strongly preferred to perform road tests and move equipment on public roads within NY/NJ/CT.
- Demonstrated proficiency with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret OEM service manuals, wiring diagrams, and hydraulic schematics.
- Experience in refuse/solid waste, municipal, or LTL/heavy trucking fleet operating in urban environments preferred.
- ASE certifications in Medium/Heavy Truck (T series) or Truck Equipment (E series); working toward Master status preferred.
- Basic welding and cutting skills (MIG, stick, torch) for brackets, hangers, and minor body fabrication preferred.
- Familiarity with computerized fleet maintenance and parts inventory systems preferred.

Position Summary
The Plant Manager is responsible for overall performance of the manufacturing site, including safety, quality, service, cost, people, and culture. This role owns the site P&L and provides strategic and operational leadership to ensure reliable execution today while building the capabilities required for future growth.
The Plant Manager leads through an operating model, aligning cross-functional teams to deliver business results, develop leaders, and embed continuous improvement and safety as core ways of working.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Site Leadership & Business Ownership
- Lead the Site Leadership Team to operate as a unified, accountable leadership system and the entire workforce to maximize productivity and job satisfaction. Leads by organizational operating principles, ultimately defining the culture and level of engagement at the plant location.
- Own full site P&L, including cost, service, and productivity performance.
- Establish site vision, priorities, and goals aligned to enterprise strategies.
- Represent the site to corporate leadership and external stakeholders.
- Create and sustain a zero-injury culture; ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Serve as the site’s senior leader accountable for food safety, quality systems, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure audit readiness and strong relationships with customers, auditors, and regulators.
- Ensure safe, predictable, and reliable operations across all value streams and warehousing.
- Partner with Maintenance and Engineering to drive asset reliability and capital planning.
- Oversee production planning, scheduling adherence, and inventory management in partnership with Supply Chain.
- Drive improvements in OEE, uptime, and throughput.
- Build a high-performance culture rooted in Marzetti Growth Behaviors and an Owner Mindset.
- Develop and coach plant leaders.
- Ensure strong succession planning and leadership pipeline across the site.
- Partner with HR to drive engagement, capability building, and workforce planning.
- Champion CI, and operational excellence principles across the site.
- Lead and sponsor breakthrough improvements to processes, technology, and operating models.
- Leverage benchmarking and best practices to keep the site competitive and innovative.
- Partner with QA, Planning, HR, Finance, Engineering, Procurement, Commercial, and R&D teams.
- Align site priorities with broader supply chain, customer, and enterprise needs.
- Participate in cross-site and enterprise initiatives to drive network performance.
Qualifications
- Progressive manufacturing leadership experience; food or beverage manufacturing preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, or related field required or equivalent experience; MBA preferred.
- Proven success leading multiple value streams or functions.
- Strong financial acumen with full P&L responsibility.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through change while delivering results through operational metrics.
This role operates in a manufacturing environment and requires regular presence on the production floor. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, navigate plant conditions, and engage directly with frontline teams is required.

As a Senior Civil / Environmental Engineer, you will work with our civil/environmental team performing technical evaluations, planning, design, and construction administration. - Strong experience with the design and construction of civil and/or environmental remediation projects.
- Leading technical efforts for planning, studies, budgeting, project cost estimating, technical management, coordination of multi-disciplinary engineering efforts, quality assurance, subcontract management and contract administration.
- Supervising staff and subcontractors to successfully deliver technical projects and build/mentor staff in the group.
- Ability to effectively communicate design concepts to clients, participating in project scoping activities and proposal presentations, and coordinating with clients to ensure an ongoing positive relationship.
- Establishing strong, productive internal collaborative relationships with senior management.
Qualifications:
- B.S. in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering.
- 12 + years of experience providing technical management of civil / environmental projects.
- Professional Engineering license with ability to obtain New Jersey license within 6 months of start date, if necessary.
- In-depth knowledge of large/complex civil/environmental projects and experience coordinating the various engineering disciplines for successful project completion.
- A strong work ethic with excellent organizational, communication, computer and technical writing skills.
- Strong team building and communications skills.
- Solid written and verbal fluency in English.
- Willingness to travel out of state.
- AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience preferred.

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead plant operations at our chemical manufacturing facility near Vineland, NJ. This role is responsible for Production and Tank Farm operations, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing while meeting customer demand and driving continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong chemical plant experience, a deep understanding of regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, DOT, PSM), & a track record of building high-performing teams.
What You’ll Do
Operations & Production
- Lead daily plant operations, including Production and Tank Farm activities
- Oversee packaging operations for storage and shipment
- Coordinate production requirements for Refrigerants, Oils, and Glycols
- Manage scheduling, inventory control, and raw material supply
- Ensure workforce coverage across all shifts
- Drive equipment reliability and preventive maintenance programs
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and Process Safety Management (PSM)
