CNC MACHINIST ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

· Setting production machinery for acceptable production processes and obtaining run approval.

· Ability to edit and interpret G and M Code

· Ability to prove out programs and set ups

· Ability to run 5 axis CNC Mills/ Lathes

· Analyze machine, tool, and program issues and makes basic repairs, as well as handling minor routine maintenance.

· Perform repetitive and custom work utilizing fixtures, machine stops, indexing devices, to control critical tolerances and dimensions.

· Assure conformance to quality specifications using a variety of gages and indicators.

· Effectively communicate with personnel at all levels.

Essential Functions as a VTL Machinist:
