POSITION SUMMARY
The Network Operations Center (NOC) Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the NOC, ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our cloud infrastructure. This role involves managing a team of NOC technicians, monitoring systems, and responding to incidents and outages in real-time and most importantly, call ticket management. The NOC Manager will also be responsible for working with engineering, data center technicians and RMA support to help the operations department provide white glove service to our customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for leading the NOC in Austin and including hiring, training and retaining staff.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of NOC technicians, ensuring 24/7 coverage and effective incident response.This includes a team of NOC Technicians located in Austin and South Africa.
- Responsible for creating and managing the NOC 24/7, 365 staffing schedules.
- Implement, oversee and coordinate incident detection, response, resolution, and escalation procedures. Ensure incidents are resolved in a timely manner to minimize downtime and impact on customers.
- Maintain monitoring tools and dashboards to track the performance, availability, and security of the network and cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and refine operational processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the NOC. Identify areas for automation and optimization.

REQUIREMENTS

- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in network operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role of hourly technicians, preferably within a cloud services environment.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and network monitoring tools.
- Experience with incident management, change management, and configuration management.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus.

Ideal Background
We are seeking a hands-on, strategic operator who has built and scaled operations in a high-growth, multi-site, or project-based environment.
Strong candidates will bring:
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience across operations, manufacturing/assembly, and supply chain
- Experience building or transforming supply chain, procurement, and logistics functions
- Background in engineered products, industrial systems, modular construction, or infrastructure-related environments
- Demonstrated success in scaling operations within a private equity or high-growth setting
- Experience with make vs. buy decisions, outsourcing strategy, and supplier development
- Exposure to global operations or international supply chains
- Strong financial acumen with a focus on cost structure, working capital, and margin improvement

We are preparing to release our biggest version yet, while simultaneously automating our entire distribution and marketing strategy.

We are looking for a software engineering intern to contribute to key product and infrastructure projects. You will learn frontend, backend, infrastructure, marketing, and what it takes to start and run a real business.
Things like:
- Developing AI-powered content generation systems
- Building automation tools for SEO and web workflows
- Designing and implementing backend services and APIs
- Shipping app features in React / React Native, NodeJS, AWS
- Creating internal tools to support product and growth experimentation

Right now there are thousands of new developers creating apps and deploying them to the app store. Distribution is the differentiator. To excel at these you need to be able to independently research the latest techniques, implement them, test what works and what doesn’t and have a good aesthetic taste.
Beyond that, the product is still in its infancy and there is a lot of work still needed to take it to the next level. The ideal candidate takes projects from start to finish. We will share with you everything we’ve learned to get to this point and we will learn a lot more together.
