Essential Requirements
8–12+ years of professional experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or infrastructure engineering
U.S. Citizen (required for participation in Federal projects)
Hands‑on expertise with Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) using Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools in on‑premise/bare‑metal environments
Deep proficiency in Linux internals, storage fundamentals, and Kubernetes, including: Calico, CNI, BGP/eBGP, Storage, RBAC, Pod Security, Operators, Operator SDK / Fabric8 APIs
Strong programming skills in Shell, Python, Helm, and related automation frameworks
Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure services such as HA/DR, DNS, Load Balancers, Firewalls, TLS, and Git‑based workflows
Experience with observability and telemetry tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, Splunk, etc.)
Demonstrated success working in Agile teams—both independently and in highly distributed environments

Desirable Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
Experience with AI and emerging Agentic AI tooling for automation or operations

Compensation
Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $156,400 to $202,400.

What's the Job?

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical equipment supporting critical data center infrastructure
• Collaborate closely with Data Center Operations and Engineering teams to ensure seamless communication and project execution
• Perform general maintenance, preventive maintenance, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and emergency repairs within the data center environment
• Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment such as VFDs, switchgear, and motors with voltages from 120-480V and 4160-25kV
• Troubleshoot motors, VFDs, and complex electrical circuits to maintain uptime and data center reliability

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an Industrial or Commercial Electrician, with data center or critical infrastructure maintenance preferred

Perform analysis on production data, to determine root cause analysis of failures.
Be involved in planning and executing rework of production assemblies.
