Basic Duties
The Caterpillar Dealer Service Technology Program is a great opportunity for anyone interested in going to school to learn a skilled trade in a high-demand industry. Students will go through a two-year curriculum where they will rotationally attend Illinois Central College, located in East Peoria, IL for 8 weeks and then attend a Altorfer branch to complete an 8 week internship. This rotation continues throughout the duration of the program. A few of the courses they will take are Fundamentals of Hydraulics, Caterpillar Engine Fuel Systems, Fundamentals of Electrical Systems, Diagnostic Testing, and Undercarriage/Final Drives.

Overview
Perform maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs in the field, on customer owned or Altorfer rental lift trucks/forklifts, Caterpillar, and other allied type construction equipment. Location areas to be serviced are: Cedar Rapids, IA., Cedar Falls, IA. and Dubuque, IA.
Basic Duties
- Provide exceptional service to our customers by performing maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs on allied type construction and lift truck equipment.
- Assist in the decision if equipment needs to be transported into the shop to complete repairs.
- Establish and maintain service-oriented working relationship with customers.
- Plan and execute the repair of various pieces of rental equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service to all customers.
- Complete service reports and all other paperwork before and after repairs are made
- May perform other related duties as requested and/or assigned.
- Keep current with industry standards.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of a formal technical training program preferred or a minimum of 2 years of previous related work experience required.
- Previous experience working on electric, diesel engines, hydraulic systems, fuel systems, drivetrain, brake systems, etc. and possess troubleshooting skills.
- Automotive and Industrial Maintenance Technicians encouraged to apply.
- Computer literate and proficient with programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook required. Knowledge of Cat software preferred.
- Must take initiative, be team oriented and willing to adapt to change.
- Ability to write professional business communication when sending emails, letters, notes, and documenting is required.
- Must be a self-starter, well organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow all safety rules and wear proper safety equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills are needed.
- Must be able to safely lift 75 lbs, bend, twist, and climb.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with clean driving record. This includes no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate).

The Role:
The MEP Project Manager is responsible for managing, field inspections, problem solving, and coordinating all necessary Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection project resources and documentation throughout the entire project lifecycle. This includes the selection and management of MEP subcontractors, and the review, management, and administration of mechanical bid tabs/Exhibit Bs, MEP submittals, monthly MEP requisitions and change orders, and MEP contractor schedule/performance.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for review of mechanical bid tabs as well as exhibit B in contract
- Responsible for interviewing and selecting sub-contractors for each project
- Responsible for day-to-day management of MEP sub-contractors
- Responsible for reviewing and approval of MEP monthly requisitions
- Responsible for reviewing and approval of MEP change orders
- Responsible for site walks to ensure work is progressing according to schedule, including schedule updates
- Responsible for direct communication with BIM/VDC personal and Superintendent to ensure coordination is on track with schedule
- Work with A/E team to develop successful solutions to coordination items
- Responsible for the review all MEP submittals
- Responsible for obtaining all documentation from inspections and testing (varies on size of job)
- Responsible for overseeing the MEP & FP contractor as well as the Commissioning agent
- Responsible for coordinating and working with any Owner third party MEP contractors or testing agencies
- Responsible for obtaining all mechanical close out documentation; as builts, attic stock and O&Ms
- Coordinate multi trade portions of the project; example - curtain wall with security, electrical and door hardware

- Attend weekly owner meetings, subcontractor meetings, coordination meeting and field meetings
- Obtain approval/sign off from any and all AHJs
- Work with retail and/or tenant fit out where applicable
- Develop work lists, and complete MEP punch list
- Coordinate owner training and turnover
- Work with all public utility companies to ensure project requirements are met. Including temporary electrical, steam, and natural gas
- Coordinate and direct as needed all parties to successfully complete life safety inspections
- Coordinate between trades and documents; electrical requirements for mechanical are correct. Light power match electrical drawings etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science (technical/engineering degree) Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and Fire protection
- Minimum 5+ years experience with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection Systems
- Minimum of 2+ years of project management experience

The Commissioning Project Engineer supports the Commissioning Manager in executing Owner side commissioning activities for mission critical data center projects. Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related technical field
- 3-7 years of construction, MEP, or commissioning experience on mission critical projects
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, controls, and life safety systems
- Familiarity with commissioning processes, documentation, and testing methodologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with commissioning and construction software such as CxAlloy, Bluebeam, and Procore preferred

Duties & Responsibilities:
Commissioning Support & Coordination
- Support the Commissioning Manager in executing the full commissioning lifecycle from construction through turnover.

- Participate in commissioning planning meetings and support schedule coordination activities.
- Help maintain alignment between construction progress, system readiness, and commissioning milestones.
Documentation & Systems Tracking
- Assist in maintaining the project Commissioning Plan, schedules, and readiness trackers.
- Administer commissioning software platforms (e.g., CxAlloy) by tracking issues, checklists, test results, and closeout documentation.
- Track commissioning related RFIs, submittals, deficiency items, and action items.
- Verify that commissioning documentation meets Owner turnover requirements.
Field Verification & Readiness
- Perform routine site walks to verify system installation status and readiness for commissioning activities.
- Confirm completion of corrective actions and deficiency resolution.
- Support verification that systems are installed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
- Assist with tracking equipment start up readiness and testing prerequisites.
Testing & Execution Support
- Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), Site Acceptance Tests (SATs), and Integrated Systems Testing (IST).
- Assist with witnessing tests, documenting results, and tracking issues to closure.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to confirm testing scope, responsibilities, and schedules.
Reporting & Communication
- Provide regular status updates to the Commissioning Manager on system readiness, testing progress, and open issues.
- Assist in preparing commissioning reports, readiness summaries, and KPI tracking.
- Support Commissioning Manager participation in OAC and coordination meetings.
Operational Readiness Support
- Assist with SOP development and review activities.
- Support audits of SIPPs, Pre Task Plans, and commissioning safety documentation.
- Help ensure documentation, training materials, and turnover packages are complete and accurate.

The MEP Project Manager is responsible for managing, field inspections, problem solving, and coordinating all necessary Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection project resources and documentation throughout the entire project lifecycle. This includes the selection and management of MEP subcontractors, and the review, management, and administration of mechanical bid tabs/Exhibit Bs, MEP submittals, monthly MEP requisitions and change orders, and MEP contractor schedule/performance.
Responsibilities
- Review mechanical bid tabs and Exhibit B in contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Interview, evaluate, and select subcontractors for each project
- Oversee daily operations and performance of MEP subcontractors
- Approve MEP monthly requisitions and change orders after thorough review
- Conduct site walks to monitor progress, update schedules, and ensure adherence to project timelines
- Collaborate with BIM/VDC teams and Superintendents to maintain coordination aligned with the schedule
- Partner with the A/E team to resolve coordination challenges and develop effective solutions
- Review and approve all MEP submittals for compliance with project requirements
- Secure documentation from inspections and testing, based on project size and scope
- Manage and supervise MEP & FP contractors and the Commissioning agent throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate with owner’s third-party MEP contractors and testing agencies as needed
- Collect mechanical closeout documentation, including as-builts, attic stock, and O&M manuals
- Facilitate multi-trade coordination (e.g., curtain wall integration with security, electrical, and hardware)
- Develop and track equipment delivery logs; prioritize submittals for long-lead items
- Participate in weekly meetings with owners, subcontractors, and coordination teams
- Obtain approvals and sign-offs from all Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs)
- Support retail and tenant fit-out activities where applicable
- Prepare and complete MEP punch lists and work lists
- Organize owner training sessions and manage project turnover
- Liaise with public utility companies to meet project requirements, including temporary services (electrical, steam, natural gas)
- Direct and coordinate all parties to successfully complete life safety inspections
- Ensure accurate electrical requirements for mechanical systems and verify alignment between drawings and specifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (technical/engineering degree) Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and Fire protection
- Minimum 5+ years experience with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection Systems
- Minimum of 2+ years of project management experience
- Strong computer skills are required i.e. MS Excel, Word, Outlook
- Ability to read and comprehend drawings and specifications
- Complete understanding of BIM/VDC coordination including various hit detection programs
- Knowledge of Local, City, State, and International building codes for the location of the project
- Knowledge of ASHRAE, NEC, NFPA, and LEED requirements
- Extensive knowledge of testing and balancing and commissioning practices
- Ability to make decisions quickly and accurately

Duties and Responsibilities
As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA) you will perform aviation-based law enforcement operations for the detection, prevention, interdiction, and apprehension of terrorists, terrorist weapons, and other contraband and persons from illegally entering or attacking the United States. Typical duties include:

Experience:You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized professional aviation experience performing duties such as:

Duties & Responsibilities:
Project Leadership & Client Management
- Act as the primary liaison for clients and internal teams.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The 2nd Shift Lead Maintenance Technician is a working lead responsible for overseeing and supporting staff during 2nd shift. This position ensures safe and efficient production by providing hands-on troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, interpretation of blueprints and bills of materials (BOMs), support with sub-assembly, and machine build tasks.
This role partners closely with 1st shift Assembly Supervisor, Quality Control, and Engineering to ensure consistent workflow, proper equipment performance, and adherence to quality standards. The Lead Technician sets expectations for productivity and quality and serves as the technical resource for 2nd shift.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Serve as the working lead for staff on 2nd shift, providing daily direction, support, and task prioritization.
- Ensure smooth workflow throughout the shift, adjusting assignments as needed to meet production and quality goals.
- Provide shift-change communication to 1st shift leadership and maintenance teams, ensuring continuity of work.
- Support new or less experienced employees by coaching processes, troubleshooting, and proper equipment operation.
- Work with the safety committee to ensure continuous compliance with all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations and standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot quality issues and recommend solutions.

Commercial Construction Assistant Project Manager Job Description: An Assistant Project Manager (APM) obtains, evaluates, coordinates and distributes the information and authorizations necessary to construct projects on time, within budget and to the quality specified.
The APM is responsible to protect and promote the interest of both the business and client in all matters as well as demonstrate the personal characteristics of a beginner-level leader.
While learning paths, growth and promotional opportunity vary, most team members are APMs for two to six years.

Commercial Construction Assistant Superintendent Job Description: The Assistant Superintendent (Assistant Supt.) supports managing work flow consistent with the project schedule, communicates project priorities to field staff and subcontractors, maintains daily log/report of all activities and site conditions, and manages the punch list and closeout process through owner/architect acceptance.
The Assistant Supt.
understands and administers the HITT safety program to include all subcontractors, ensures that all accidents/incidents are promptly reported and investigated, and assists in safety inspection by outside agencies.
The Assistant Supt.
assists in planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the building aspects of each project in order to meet budget, quality, time and safety objectives.
Responsibilities Work with project manager in formulating project schedule, ensure that the proper methods and sequence of installation are followed, makes and follows through with schedule commitments Maintain HITT quality standards for all aspects of the project Maintain good working relationship with all subcontractors on the project, develop relationships within the community that enhances business opportunities, and ensure subcontractors are treated fairly.
Ensure complete, accurate daily documentation of work orders/tickets, understand subcontractor scope of work to avoid unnecessary change orders, and identify problems early and act immediately to provide solutions.
