Title: Estimator
Job Summary:
Candidate will work with our Chief Estimator and/or Project Manager(s) to create takeoffs, put together project estimates and bids using company selected software and resources. Candidate may be required to administer/manage assigned projects during the construction phase from project commencement to project close-out.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare clear and detailed takeoffs for review and use by the Chief Estimator and/or Group Managers for Heavy Highway, Commercial, Industrial and Environmental projects to be estimated.

Qualifications:
- Qualified candidate should have an associates or bachelor’s degree in Civil/Construction Engineering Technology, Construction Management or Drafting Technology (or similar accredited program).
- A minimum 3 years’ experience in civil engineering/construction management disciplines associated with Transportation, Site-Civil or Structural Infrastructure with experience in some or all of the following:
- AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, Trimble Business Center, AGTEK or similar CAD software.
- Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Bluebeam Revu or similar PDF takeoff software.
- HCSS HeavyBid or similar estimating software.
- HCSS HeavyJob or similar job reporting software.
- Calculate and present earthworks quantities, underground utility quantities and material quantities, including spreadsheet processing as required.
- Knowledge of site and/or roadway grading, DTM creation, point management, alignment and cross-section creation.

POSITION/TITLE: Project Manager 1 - Public Roadway
Job Overview:
The Project Manager 1 is responsible for assisting in the success and profitability of a project from the bidding phase through final completion. The PM1 reports to the Group Manager and shall initiate regular communication with the GM on bid challenges, risk issues, cost impacts, project conditions and highlight other concerns which create a scope or cost deviation from the original estimations of profit and loss involving a particular task. The primary standards by which a PM1 shall be measured include the following:
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the project to a successful result for both the client and Miller Bros. Const., Inc.

- Work with the Safety Directors, Superintendents and Foremen to promote “Site Sense” talks every morning with their crews and prior to beginning a major change in operations
- Review and understand all project scopes, schedules, budgets, plans, specifications and standard drawings for the work to be performed. Build the work to meet or exceed specifications
- Coordinate all project activities and schedule demands through the Superintendents and Foreman
- Discuss resource requirements on a regular basis with the Superintendent, Director of Field Personnel and Equipment Manager
- Report weekly the status of each project to the Group Manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or similar field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project management or estimation
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in heavy construction

I. Summary:
The Vice President of Equipment plays a critical leadership role in supporting Miller Bros. Const., Inc.’s continued growth in the heavy highway and site development industry. This position works collaboratively with colleagues, project teams and senior management to uphold MBC’s commitment to safety, operational excellence and efficiency. The VP oversees all aspects of equipment operations – developing strategy, improving performance, managing procurement and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards. Success in this role requires professionalism, integrity and respect in every interaction with clients, vendors and MBC staff.
II. Essential Functions – The Core Responsibilities of this job.
Safety & Operational Excellence
- Safety FIRST in all agendas, meeting and planning of any and all activities
- Know, communication and enforce MBC’s Corporate Safety Plan and Policies
- Maintain a fleet equipment in excellent working condition that is sufficient to meet all the company’s requirements and needs at a reasonable cost
- Supervise the Equipment Manager and assist in the development and growth of the equipment management staff
Equipment Efficiency
- Manage work activities to most efficiently control repair and operating costs
- Manage the equipment acquisition and disposal process including purchase vs. rental decisions and life cycle analysis. Work closely with the Accounting department in equipment financing decisions.
- Supervise the repair and maintenance programs and equipment operations including the parts/supplies warehouse and shop facilities management in an effort to improve efficiency, productivity, cost control and effectiveness
- Develop internal equipment billing rates and review periodically to determine they adequately reflect actual costs
- Oversee scheduling and work closely with V.P. Public and V.P. Private for the best utilization of all MBC equipment and evaluation of new equipment needs
Budgeting & Business Strategies
- Work closely with others in the senior management group to think strategically to develop growth and business strategies, goals and action plans
- Review utilization of equipment to manage the usage, purchase, sale and movement of equipment
- Communicate with all departments to determine each other’s needs and to coordinate actions for the benefit of all
- Participate in compiling and reviewing annual budgets for all of MBC and managing monthly cost reporting
- Share regular updates with the senior management team and with the Advisory Board at the quarterly meetings and as requested
- Utilize data analytics where appropriate to evaluate performance and make informed decisions
Team Collaboration & Business Relationships
- Develop a strong TEAM by constantly communicating and engaging employees
- Promote MBC Core Values with all employees, clients and colleagues
- Remain instrumental in the hiring, training, developing mentoring and evaluating of all equipment personnel with an emphasis on finding, training and retaining qualified mechanics

- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business or related field (preferred)
- 10-15 years or progressive equipment management experience in heavy civil construction
- Proven leadership in fleet strategy, budgeting and vendor relations
- Experience with ERP and/or equipment management systems
- Strong financial acumen and ability to interpret cost data
- CEM certification (preferred)

The Equipment Technician is responsible for performing inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs) and related equipment. This role ensures all equipment is safe, compliant, and ready for sale or customer use, with work performed in accordance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and manufacturer specifications.
Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance and Repair- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on aerial lifts, including boom lifts and scissor lifts
- Work on diesel- and gasoline-powered engines, including troubleshooting fuel, starting, cooling, and performance issues
- Independently diagnose and repair electric, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, including pumps, valves, cylinders, motors, wiring, and control systems
- Read, interpret, and follow technical manuals, electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and service documentation
- Identify worn or failing components and recommend corrective action
- Serve as a technical resource for less experienced technicians as needed
- Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) to ensure equipment meets manufacturer specifications and company quality standards prior to sale
- Inspect customer-owned equipment and complete service or repair work accurately and efficiently
- Document all maintenance, repairs, inspections, and safety checks to ensure traceability and compliance with company policies
- Maintain accurate records of parts usage, labor, and service
- Follow all OSHA requirements, manufacturer guidelines, and company safety policies
- Use lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures when servicing hazardous systems

- Direct experience servicing MEWPs, boom lifts, scissor lifts, or telehandlers strongly preferred

How will you make an impact?
The Lead Electrical CAD Designer will be responsible for creating detailed model designs, modifying existing designs, and working collaboratively with engineers and other team members to meet product specifications. We are seeking a highly skilled, technically proficient and detail-oriented Principal Mechanical Engineer with expertise in metal structures, frame design, pipes and fabrication to support the development of power and cooling infrastructure for data centers. This role is critical in designing robust mechanical systems that house and support electrical and thermal management equipment, ensuring structural integrity, manufacturability, and compliance with industry standards.
What will you do?
- Experience designing and integrating hydronic systems including pumps, piping networks, valves, and heat exchangers for data center cooling applications.
- Knowledge of fluid dynamics, pressure drop calculations, and pipe sizing for chilled water and glycol-based systems.
- Understanding of installation constraints, maintenance access, and serviceability in large-scale mechanical infrastructure.
- Design and develop mechanical frames, enclosures, and support structures for data center power and cooling products (UPS systems, battery racks, CRAC units, containment systems, LVS, MVS).
- Perform advanced structural analysis using FEA tools to validate mechanical integrity under static, dynamic, seismic, and thermal loads.
- Analyze load paths, stress concentrations, and fatigue life of structural components to ensure long-term reliability.
