Responsibilities

Rooming patients: Collecting pertinent information regarding the patient's chief complaint, family history, social history, surgical history, and medication reconciliation upon arrival for a patient visit. CMA staff may retrieve and provide condition specific education from the internet, internal website, or printed materials per the provider directions and orders. Administer medications per the provider order. Exceptions - biologic or Schedule II, III medications. Provide assistance with prescription medication refills per department protocols. Call medications into pharmacies, notify patients of refills, and documents actions within the EMR per provider orders. Maintain department specific competencies related to point of care testing, equipment handling, and specialty training. Update and maintain different registries within the department. EMR in-basket work, to include, but not limited to - result notes, medication refills, answering patient portal & telephone messages within scope. Overview

The Rental Sales Rep will take ownership of a customer base and/or territory and be responsible for driving all revenues and customer growth, while doing so in a manner that exemplifies Altorfer's Core Values. Basic Duties

  • Responsible for assisting customers with sales and rental equipment needs.
  • Achieve maximum sales and profitability in assigned territory by working with both existing customers and targeting new accounts.

  • Meet or exceed market growth goals.

  • Design, develop and provide comprehensive nursing orientation to new-hires

  • Work closely with leadership and nursing staff to determine supplemental training opportunities, developing and providing new training on an as needed basis

  • Partner with the RN Educators across the Continuing Care Division to maintain a consistent and positive orientation experience

  • Monitor and support efforts to achieve and maintain positive quality measures

  • Oversee infection control efforts

  • Monitor infection prevention throughout the facility

  • Partner with the Infection Control Nurses across the Continuing Care Division to implement and educate policies and procedures at EMGC and The Terrace

Required:

  • A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of New York

  • Associate’s degree in Nursing or Degree of Nursing from an accredited school

  • 3 years or more of experience as a RN preferably in skilled nursing

  • Experience as a RN in an educator or supervisory role

Preferred:

  • Computer literacy and comfort utilizing multiple computer applications

  • Excellent communication in a fast paced work environment across teams on different shifts and in different departments (nursing, human resources, leadership)

  • Strong engagement within a team setting

  • Passion to learn, grow and develop in the nursing field



Pay Range:

$40.00 - $52.81 Hourly

$83,200 - $109,844.80 Yearly

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
