Columbus Endoscopy Center delivers professional care for various digestive diseases. Our state-of-the-art facility makes it easier for you to have quality endoscopic procedures in a comfortable, easily-accessible outpatient setting at a reduced fee compared to the typical hospital inpatient setting. We perform upper and lower endoscopies as well as colonoscopies. We have been providing care in the greater Columbus area for more than 20 years. Our providers, including physicians and physician’s assistants are highly-trained and well-skilled in virtually all areas of digestive disease diagnosis and treatment.
Cases are performed Monday – Friday with procedure times from 7:30am-5:00pm (approximately) – cases usually finish earlier in the afternoon. No nights, weekends, or call!

We are looking for a physician with senior level health plan experience to join MedStar Family Choice, our Medicaid Managed Care Organization, as the Senior Health Plan Medical Director/Medical Officer in the Baltimore, MD region.
Key Position Details
- This position serves as a key thought partner and advisor to the Executive Director on clinical matters.
- Responsible for leadership of the health plan’s clinical operations with a primary focus on developing clinical strategy and execution to drive clinical outcomes.
- Provides leadership, direction and clinical oversight of the Medical Directors-Maryland to achieve best in class performance as defined by identified metrics.
- Dedicated to the Maryland plan and serves as key personnel and a member of the senior leadership team of the Maryland plan.
- Leads and executes on innovative Managed Care disciplines to ensure optimal total cost of care management.
- Work collaboratively in developing various strategic medical expense approaches such as value based contracting strategy.
- Develops collaborative relationships with Maryland agencies and associates, MedStar Health system leaders, academic physicians, hospitals, community physicians, and related networks.
- Raises the visibility of MFC in the community and within the healthcare industry at large.
- Qualified candidates must have previous experience in a health plan or Medicaid managed care environment, prior supervisory and leadership experience and a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience.

MedStar Health is seeking non-invasive cardiologists to join a mid-size, established practice of experienced cardiologists in desired Frederick County, the largest county in Maryland. Practice is located in Frederick, Maryland and conveniently located less than 60 minutes from Washington, D.C. and Baltimore and only 30 minutes from Gettysburg. Position Details
- Ambulatory care and inpatient responsibilities at one, nearby hospital
- Diagnostic activities include echo, stress testing, nuclear cardiology and vascular ultrasound
- Onsite pacemaker/defibrillator clinic available to patients
- Call frequency is low, generally 1:6
- Inpatient diagnostic services include TEEs and EKG and echo readings when on-call
- Optimal position for a new graduate and experienced cardiologist
Position Requirements:
Board-eligible/board-certified in Cardiology
Board certification in Echo and/or Nuclear, preferred

What You'll Do: As a Buyer II, you will play a key role in managing the procurement process for the organization, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
