* Practice Setting : Inpatient only (14-bed ICU)
* Call Requirements : 24-hour coverage (8 hours in-house, 16 hours on-call)
Clinical Skills Required
The following skills are essential for this role:
* Ventilation management (both invasive and non-invasive)
* Chest tube insertion
* Central and arterial line placement
* Thoracentesis and paracentesis
* Bronchoscopy with BAL
* Acute volume/BP management
* Dialysis catheter placement
* Diagnostic/therapeutic taps
Certification & Licensing
* Must be Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine
* Active Oregon medical license required
* Additional certifications needed: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS
