Position Summary

Responsible for working within the scope of laboratory policies and procedures to provide specimen processing, test performance and result reporting. Performs test procedures authorized by the Medical Laboratory Director; with the degree of skill commensurate with individual education, training, experience and technical abilities. Insure that all laboratory testing is performed according to established protocols or procedures. Exercise professional judgment in evaluation and assessment of test performance, sample integrity, result accuracy and validity. Follows all safety practices and maintains ongoing competency to ensure high quality testing services. He/she also supports professional development.

Position Responsibilities

Standard Work Duties: Medical Technologist (PRN)

• Participates in day-to-day operations in the laboratory to facilitate workflow, maximize output, and decrease turnaround times
• Follows laboratory procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analysis, reporting and maintaining records of patient results
• Utilizes job knowledge, judgment, and problem solving skills to ensure specimen quality
• Operates, troubleshoots, and takes appropriate action when needed on all test systems
• Identifies issues that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results and takes appropriate action including supervisory notification if indicated
• Participates in laboratory quality assurance programs including proficiency testing
• Follows established safety and biohazard procedures and standard precautions at all times. Disposes of biohazard waste following laboratory protocols (Laboratory Safety Manual and Chemical Hygiene Plan)
• Monitor quality control of laboratory instruments and test assays. Communicate with supervisor as needed. Responsible for routine preventive maintenance, minor repair, and troubleshooting of instruments

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Associates degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related laboratory science from a two-year accredited college or CLIA approved Military MLT program required or has earned a bachelors degree in a chemical, physical or biological science. American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) certification as an MLT (ASCP) or equivalency preferred. Minimum of one (1) year experience working in a hospital lab setting required

Responsible for performing clinical laboratory tests in a high specimen volume environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

A Medical Technologist / Lab Technician is responsible for the technical processing of tests and performing the more difficult tests assigned to the department.

Some incumbents of the class perform independent work of a comparable level, including completion of more difficult and complex tests with responsibility for results, re-tests where abnormal or atypical results are obtained, and assisting superiors in specialized development or quality control work.

Emphasis of the work is on daily technical supervision of technicians and laboratory assistants engaged in completion of a volume of diagnostic tests, with assigned responsibility for accuracy of results and administrative control of standardized tests performed by manual or automatic methods within the department.

Work is performed under the general supervision of a professional superior who discusses complex problems arising and evaluates work for professional quality.

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking an applicant interested in a long-term position in the Cincinnati Technology Center CTC conducting analytical testing to support, production, product stewardship, and technical services growth. A person with 5 -10 years of experience in analytical laboratory testing is preferred. Job assignments are varied; thus, flexibility is essential.

As part of the Technical Services team, a Senior technician must be able to work on multiple services projects or Development test items simultaneously. The Analytical Senior Laboratory Technician plays an integral role in technical services of the PFX Group/KOSTUSA. The responsibilities include the setup, testing, and documentation of analytical testing specifically liquid or gas chromatography, based out of the KOSTUSA, CTC Site. • Manages collecting and shipping samples for 3rd party analysis
• Records and tabulates data in laboratory notebook in legal form following defined procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and carry out to completion, sample testing in accordance with CTC Management system with limited supervision. Communicates results, conclusions and recommendations in person and in formal written reports.
• Must be able to safely follow detailed Analytical test procedures, making observations, recording test data into spreadsheets and laboratory notebooks, and summarizing data into presentable form.
• Assist in the preparation of departmental documentation including Standard Operating Procedures, job safety analysis procedures and project technical reports. Support/design new and novel analytical test procedures/methods to support services.
• Ensure that samples are reported on time, meeting quality and turnaround targets.
• Answer technical enquiries related to your work accurately and quickly.
• Conduct research to stay up to date with analytical instrument trends and submit ideas for cost saving and new or improved test method opportunities.
• Drive improved standards of safety and housekeeping and Senior initiatives to improve laboratory practices.
• Ensure that all activities within the laboratory are risk assessed and documented.

Qualifications

• Minimum education required is Bachelors of Science degree level in chemistry or equivalent science with 5 – 10 years of experience in an analytical laboratory.
• Must be able to follow instructions, work independently and safely in a laboratory environment and work on several projects at the same time.
• Strong written communication skills are required.
• A background in analytical instruments, preferably within the consumer products industry, is a plus.
• Ability to work well with peers is required.
• Ability/desire to grow technically through continued education and learning is essential.

As a Laboratory Excellence Sr. Auditor, the role will carry out responsibilities such as but not limited to satisfy the training needs of Lactalis USA Labs, as well as assuming responsibility for the auditing of all Lactalis USA Labs (12 relay labs + 8 auditing).

Key responsibilities for this position include:

• Coordinate travel to all USA labs, report of their compliance against the Lactalis testing expectations (SOPs, reproducibility, etc.). Create a force of proposal for improvement and follow up.
• As a Lactalis laboratory accredited auditor, you will plan, organize and perform lab audits for all internal and external labs used by Lactalis in USA, follow up on all corrective actions noted during auditing, make proposals for acceptance (or not) of new external labs (chemistry and micro), based on audit results and compliance within Lactalis protocols.
• Responsibility of "Lab relay" for the USA (that includes plants laboratories, such as LAG, LUSY, Karoun, and LHD); travel to all laboratories in the US to bring testing methods according to the Lactalis standards. Will organize bi-weekly teams meetings with each lab, following on corrective actions and updates on progress
• Responsibility of the integration of any new labs, as Lactalis pursue new acquisitions, as they will need to be transitioned into Lactalis Lab procedures and protocols.
• Manage the Lactalis Cecalait verification system with all laboratories, helping to troubleshoot when out of compliance
• Contribute to ongoing meetings such as : Monthly Teams Meeting with Groupe Lactalis (France), Quarterly meetings with each division Quality leader about lab progress, Quarterly meetings with each division VP Quality.
• Provide recommendations for new alternative test methods, thus improving lab efficiencies
• Maintain communications with Groupe Lactalis: reports and KPIs to DQG in Laval, attend annual group Lactalis seminars for Laboratory and R&D updates and incorporate them into US Lab practices

Overview

Our Quality Control (QC) organization is seeking a QA Laboratory Technician to support laboratory

equipment, Temperature‑Controlled Units (TCUs), and reusable laboratory glassware cleaning across

all QC functional areas—including Chemistry, Microbiology, and Environmental Monitoring (EM).

This role is essential in maintaining a compliant, safe, and inspection‑ready laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and use cleaning, sporicidal, and disinfecting agents according to manufacturer

instructions.

• Ensure all chemical agents are within expiration and dispose of expired or unused agents per

local safety procedures.

• Document all equipment cleaning activities accurately and timely.

• Transfer temperature‑dependent materials between equivalent TCUs prior to cleaning activities.

• Confirm that the Instrument Maintenance Custodian has removed equipment from service

before cleaning.

• Identify and remove damaged glassware, ensuring appropriate disposal.

• Perform routine cleaning and disinfecting of equipment and TCUs following prescribed

frequencies.

• Clean reusable laboratory glassware to meet required standards for intended use.

• Segregate dirty glassware and store clean glassware in a manner that maintains cleanliness and

prevents contamination.

• Prepare cleaning solutions for manual glassware washing.

• Support overall QC lab cleaning processes across Chemistry, Micro, and EM groups.

Requirements

• Experience with GMARS and/or LabVantage LIMS (experience in at least one significantly

reduces qualification time).

• Previous experience working in a GMP environment.

• Ability to work in laboratory settings with required PPE.

• Pharma manufacturing or QC laboratory experience.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 10:30pm - 7:00am

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise the day to day operations of the Core Laboratory departments
• Ensure laboratory tests are accurately performed and results are reported in a timely manner
• Directly supervise, train, and mentor laboratory personnel of the department
• Monitor daily workflow in the lab and schedule adequate assay coverage
• Responsible for ensuring all shifts in the department are properly staffed
