Job Description:

The Construction Manager (CM) is the project representative that have been delegated authority and responsibility of administering the field operations of the construction project. The CM will perform all aspects of field administration, including implementation of a safety plan and a quality control plan. The Construction Manager will be responsible for developing, evaluation of, and execution of construction plans for various projects as assigned. This will include significant outage planning and coordination with operating entities and contractors.

Job Responsibilities:

Function: The two primary functions of the Construction Manager is to perform evaluations of construction plans for safety, feasibility and efficiencies and to perform construction management for specific projects as assigned at the various Client locations.

Accountable for:

The Construction Manager will be responsible for the safety, cost and schedule performance of the construction efforts assigned. Deliverables: The deliverables required will vary based on the requirements unique to each assigned project, but will generally consist of:

1. Assist in the development of the progress schedule; generating, gathering, and confirming all information needed to create, monitor, and modify the progress schedule on a continuous basis. Monitor and report on actual vs. target performance requirements.

2. Perform constructability analyses on a regular basis and coordinate general direction of work.

3. Evaluate and provide input to vendor construction plans.

4. Manage receipt of material and equipment and ensure proper storage and accessibility.

5. Monitor manpower and physical progress of construction.

6. Monitor as required cost items related to the construction contracts ie. reimbursable costs to control spending. Review contractor progress payment requests. Review and provide final invoice approval.

7. Review, evaluate, resolve and report on contractor claims and disputes including maintaining change logs.

8. Coordinate and administer the construction quality assurance program.

9. Monitor and report on engineering and procurement function to ensure that deliverables are processed in time to meet construction commitments.

10. Prepare construction reports and maintain daily construction log. Maintain record drawing data, and prepares all regular and any special documentation as determined by project needs.

11. Conduct construction coordination meetings as required to progress the project in accordance with the schedule.

12. Coordinate storage and lay-down needs.

13. Assist in the obtainment of all necessary permits and licenses.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in coordinating and managing complex construction in an industrial setting - Direct steel industry construction experiences a plus.

• Knowledge and proficiency of Construction Industry Institute (CII) and Project Management Institute (PMI) concepts a plus.

• Knowledge of industry standards pertaining to industrial construction and safety planning.

• Experience with multi-discipline constructability and construction planning.

• Ability to use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Oracle software.

• Ability to read and evaluate schedules. • Ability to evaluate estimates and related scope documents. • Knowledge of engineering, procurement and construction and other project-related activities, their interfaces and interdependencies. - Prepare examination rooms by ensuring sterile supplies, contrast materials, catheters, and other required equipment are available and properly arranged.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain cleanliness of imaging rooms and work areas.
- Greet and assist patients arriving in the department, verify appointments, answer phone inquiries, and provide general information as needed.
- Coordinate with inpatient units to call scheduled patients for examinations when equipment becomes available.
- Perform portable X-ray imaging throughout the medical center while notifying nearby staff and visitors of radiation safety precautions.
- Document unusual events occurring within the Diagnostic Imaging Service and notify the on-call Radiologist or supervisory technologist.
- Maintain exam room cleanliness and restock supplies at the end of each shift.
- Ensure patient safety during examinations, including proper patient handling and movement techniques.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service to patients, visitors, and medical staff.

Schedule:

- Personnel will work any eight (8) hour shift, nine (9) hour shift, or ten (10) hour shift. Eight (8) hour shifts are typically five (5) days per week with 30 minutes for lunch/dinner. Nine (9) hour shifts are typically a rotating four (4) day and five (5) days per week with 30 minutes for lunch/dinner. Ten (10) hour shifts are typically a four (4) day week. What You’ll Do

Responsibilities:

  • Review and organize import files to ensure all information and documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Communicate with Customer Service when additional documents or information are needed from clients.
  • Classify documentation based on operations system data and follow client-specific SOPs.
  • Support the Import Manager with classification and compliance needs.
  • Research and provide HTS or product codes when missing, ensuring accuracy for future use.
  • Input entry data and handle FDA (PGA) requirements, including “may proceed” releases.
  • Immediately notify clients when FDA exams are required (document or merchandise).
  • Prepare and annotate delivery orders with FDA release status.
  • Issue written instructions to carriers/steamship lines when shipments must be held for release.
  • Ensure shipments are properly released once clearance is completed.
  • Pass completed files to Post-Entry team for final assembly.
  • Monitor releases by Customs, FDA, and other authorities, and resolve census or entry errors.
  • Correct bill of lading and related errors promptly.

What We’re Looking For

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of entry writing and/or brokerage operations experience (data entry & PGA focus).
  • Experience with CargoWise One preferred; QuestaWeb a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. and international geography (countries, cities, ocean ports).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently while delivering top-quality customer service.

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Software Engineering organization is seeking a Software Configuration Management Specialist (Associate or Experienced) for the Precision Engagement Systems programs team in St. Charles, MO (St. Louis Metro Area) to perform configuration planning, identification, change control, tracking, and verification, and facilitate program baseline management.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate and Experienced Level Configuration Managers.

The Software Configuration Management Specialist will be a member of the build team and will support the Change Configuration Board (CCB). This role reviews all software releases for accuracy, documents CCB meetings by capturing minutes, tracks and follows up on action items, and coordinates final release activities.

The successful candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and a proactive self-starter who can independently analyze issues and drive them to resolution. Flexibility, initiative, and resourcefulness are essential to succeed in this role.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Change Control Board (CCB) process for software: schedule and facilitate CCB meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes, track action items, and ensure changes are reviewed and approved before implementation.

  • Produce and maintain program CM artifacts: CM plans, product/document identification schemes, baselines, and traceability records.

  • Prepare and process change documents: Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), Requests for Variance (RFV), Change Documents/Requests (CD/CRs), and related approvals.

  • Oversee software build and release activities: plan, schedule, coordinate and execute builds and deployments; operate and improve build/release processes to minimize errors and cycle time.

  • Manage version control, repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and build environments; resolve environment inconsistencies and release failures.

  • Perform configuration audits and verification to confirm product/documentation baselines.

  • Assess prime and supplier contract CM requirements and coordinate supplier change management.

  • Support determinations of export authority for technical work products and assist with industry quality audits for CM.

  • Collaborate with customers and cross-functional stakeholders to align release schedules, program planning, and program-level CM activities.

  • Drive continuous improvement of CM processes, tooling, and metrics.

Basic Qualifications: (Required Skills/ Experience)

  • Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and change management practices

  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • 1+ years editing PDF and Word files

Preferred Qualifications: (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

  • Experience leading or coordinating teams, formally or informally

  • Experience with version control systems and build/release tooling (e.g., Git, CI/CD)

  • Experience in Configuration Management

  • Ability to accomplish tasks through formal channels and informal networks; an understanding of the cultures of organizations and ability to apply this information in a way that strengthens the organization's strategic plan and profitability

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and demonstrated process improvement mindset
