The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in structural analysis and engineering design principles for both gravity and lateral systems with various building materials including wood and steel. The role provides structural engineering support and services to multiple modular manufacturing facilities around the United States. This position is remote with minimal travel required.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to the engineering team (or individually) to move a project through the structural design phase
  • Provide a complete structural calculations package for the entire design of modular units both individually and as a multi-unit complex for the state submission of each project
  • Structural calculations are to include a comprehensive design of the modular unit for both the gravity and lateral systems
  • Gravity designs consist of roof framing members, bearing walls, continuous span multi-layer plywood beams, structural steel clean-span trusses, engineered posts, built-up posts, HSS structural steel posts, floor joists, and wide flange structural steel chassis members

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an EAC/ABET accredited university
  • Licensed professional civil/structural engineer – preference given to candidates actively licensed in Alaska, California, and Hawaii; ability to obtain additional state licensures quickly

Responsibilities

The registered nurse (RN) is accountable for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care. The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family. The RN will function within the Mayo Nursing Care Model, which includes accountability for planning, implementing, evaluating and communicating all phases of nursing care for assigned patients. The ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice provide a basis for the practice of the RN. The RN provides leadership through activities such as preceptor role, informal leadership roles, and quality improvement efforts. The RN delegates patient care according to skill level, experience, patient acuity, fiscal accountability, and adequacy of resources. The RN possesses excellent communication skills; is skillful in mentoring and teaching; and may participate on committees or projects. 

Responsibilities for this role include the following:

    • Conduct thorough patient assessments pre and post Cardiology procedures, ensuring comprehensive care and monitoring.
    • Administer medications and treatments to include but not limited to arterial and venous sheath pulls as prescribed/ordered by physicians.
    • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
    • Provide education to patients and their families regarding cardiac procedures and post-procedural care.
    • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, recognizing and responding promptly to changes.
    • Assist in TEE/cardioversion and Tilt table resting procedures, providing nursing support and maintaining a sterile environment.

Qualifications

Graduate of a nursing program.
All entry-level associate degree registered nurses with a RN start date of April 1, 2020 and after must provide documented evidence of program completion of a baccalaureate degree in nursing program within five years from the last day of the month of the RN start date.

As an Automation Engineer in our Morgan Hill, CA facility you will assist Engineers in research & development and production support in the following areas:

  • Lead implementation of design standards for HMI, PLC, Automated Systems design and development for manufacturing equipment
  • Interface with production staff on Automation & Control related topics and issues
  • Lead or assist with projects and installations with regards to control systems for production equipment
  • Lead efforts in continuous process optimization (cycle time and uptime) of automated lines from controls perspective
