Waterway Carwash is looking for Car Wash - Detailers at our Pepper Pike location! Most part-time jobs are boring. But not at Waterway. As a Car Wash Associate, you dont just clean cars you get to be active while you work outside with your friends. And every time you work, you get paid. Also, our scheduling is flexible with no late nights.
The Detailer works as part of a team to efficiently clean the interior and finish the exterior of customer vehicles, and provide outstanding service, ensuring that all customer needs are met and that the customer leaves satisfied with their visit and car wash. The Car Wash Attendant will drive and clean vehicles and assist customers during their visit at various interaction points, including the carwash entrance and finishing stations on the exit lot.
Compensation: Competitive rates and cash tips daily! Average $15 per hour. Our top earners make over $20 per hour.

- Current and valid drivers license;

- Drive vehicles onto and off conveyor, program wash type and send vehicle; shut off conveyor if obstructions are in the way of moving vehicles in the tunnel; watch traffic flow and be aware of surroundings.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized environment year-round to ensure a positive visit for every customer including but not limited to: picking up trash, sweeping and hosing areas visible to customers, pulling weeds, shoveling snow and salting customer areas.
- Wash and dry towels and carry buckets of towels to stations. Fill and stock cleaning supplies. Dig car wash trench, sweep and hose back rooms / storage rooms as needed. Clean wash equipment, windows, doors, and walls; empty trash cans and vacuum canisters.
- Follow Waterway policies, procedures, guidance, and instructions, including and especially those related to safety.
- Various other functions as identified and directed by management.
- Environmental will work outdoors year-round, and be exposed to wide temperature variations, sunshine, wet weather (rain, snow), humidity, wet surfaces, gasoline and exhaust fumes, machinery and moving parts, and brief exposure to car wash tunnel noise.
- Physical periods of extended standing, bending, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, drive vehicles, reach above and below shoulder level. Complete tasks at a fast pace, sustain consistent physical effort, sustain continuous and prolonged standing and movement. Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and maintain a calm and professional disposition in all circumstances.
- Vision and Hearing Far and near visual acuity, peripheral vision and depth perception. Hear, understand, and distinguish speech from other sounds (e.g., alarms, horns, vehicles, and equipment).
- Language must be able to fluently speak and understand English when communicating with other team members, managers, and customers for business related purposes.

OBJECTIVE:
The Wash Bay Employee is responsible for cleaning, detailing, and preparing construction rental equipment for customer use. This role ensures that all equipment is returned to presentable condition, maintained to company standards, and ready for the next rental. The Wash Bay Employee also assists with basic inspections, organization of equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Wash, clean, and detail construction rental equipment (e.g., excavators, skid steers, lifts, loaders, and small tools) upon return.
* Remove dirt, debris, grease, and other residues using pressure washers, cleaning solutions, and hand tools.
* Inspect equipment for visible damage, missing parts, or maintenance concerns and report findings to the service department.
* Assist with fueling and staging equipment for upcoming rentals.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wash bay area, including cleaning supplies and tools.
* Follow all safety guidelines and use proper protective equipment while operating pressure washers and cleaning chemicals.
* Perform other duties as assigned to support the service and rental team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
* Previous experience in equipment washing, detailing, or related work is a plus, but not required, training will be provided.

The Laboratory Technician I (Cage Wash) performs a variety of technical tasks in support of scientific research, managing and operating laboratory equipment. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols to ensure accurate and reliable outcomes.
Performs routine duties in support of animal research facilities including washing housing components, sanitizing animal rooms, and support areas.

Overview
Prepare, inspect, and clean all customer equipment and equipment returning from rentals.
Basic Duties
- Prepare, inspect, and clean all customer equipment and equipment returning from rentals.
- Keep wash bay clean and in compliance with EPA and Contamination Control Guidelines.
- Work closely with the Yard Facilitator and help where needed.
- Responsible for the upkeep of the yard, always making sure it's a safe environment for employees and customers.
- Minor repairs to equipment, plus other duties as assigned
- Safety Focused, required PPE must be worn
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of construction equipment or previous experience is required.
- Able to operate various types of earthmoving machines when needed for customers or move around in the yard.
- Forklift experience is required.
- Must be well organized and provide excellent customer service.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Able to work with minimal supervision and complete duties in a safe, fast-paced manner.
- Ability to work overtime and some weekends when needed.
- Excellent communication skills (written, e-mail, and verbal) are necessary.
- Computer literacy required. Must be familiar with programs such as Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. This includes no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on the final candidate).
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
This position will work in an outside environment and may work in a Shop environment, exposed to elements of weather, paint, and chemicals. May, on a continuous basis, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. The wearing of approved safety equipment (i.e., steel-toe footwear, safety glasses W/side shields) is required. Noise level in the shop/warehouse may range from moderate to high. Must be flexible during peak season, working overtime as needed. Occasional local travel may be required. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
