This position is within the Effectors Center of the Software organization, and is an onsite role located in Tucson, AZ.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.

• Experience using embedded Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) (e.g., Green Hills, Integrity, Wind River VxWorks, Linux, etc.)

• Experience developing complex systems involving the integration of hardware, firmware, and software

• Active and transferrable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain program access after start .

Qualifications We Prefer

• Familiarity with reading electrical schematics and relating it to software function

Oversee, manage, and collaborate with the geophysics team to deliver high quality outcomes for clients by implementing efficient project deliverables. Position Overview

Responsibilities

• Review, develop and direct: proposals and scope of work for geophysical surveys, data acquisition, processing, and reports.
• Assist in review and technical oversight of engineering plans, environmental reports and litigation projects as needed.
• Main point of contact for Geophysics clients to ensure high quality deliverables are on budget and on time.
• Create and manage sales and marketing goals by building strong relationships with key clients and develop new client opportunities to support the growth of MUNDELL services.

Requirements

• B.S. degree (M.S. or PhD preferred) scientific or engineering discipline from an accredited university.
• Registration as a professional engineer, (PE), or professional geologist (PG) in the state of Indiana.
• A minimum of five (5) years of progressive consulting experience.
• Advanced technical knowledge in the geophysics discipline; familiarity with geophysical field methods; excellent surveying and mapping skills; advanced knowledge of geophysical equipment including operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting; strong project management and organizational skills; multidisciplinary environmental project experience.
• Strong PC skills and experience with method specific geophysical software including GPR, EM, magnetics, seismic, resistivity and borehole logging.

This is a governance and assurance role — you will guide and validate the work of developers, contractors, and commissioning agents rather than performing the execution yourself.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve building-level commissioning plans, test procedures, and acceptance criteria; identify gaps and drive closure.
• Chair weekly commissioning readiness meetings and track punch lists, defects, and dependencies to resolution.
• Audit test scripts, results, telemetry mappings, and alarm configurations; ensure DCIM, BMS, and EPMS interfaces are validated.
• Conduct targeted witness testing for critical sequences, log deviations, and confirm corrective actions before acceptance.
