Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center is the largest hospital in Wisconsin and the heart of our cardiovascular program. This flagship hospital is home to our cardiac specialty centers, the largest heart transplant/VAD program in the state, and the largest Structural Valve Program in Wisconsin. Our Advanced Imaging Core Group provides coverage for echocardiography, interventional echocardiography, cardiac CT, SPECT/PET, and CMR in a well-established cardiovascular group (75 cardiologists system-wide, 25 at Aurora St. Luke’s campus) on the forefront of cardiology. The ideal candidate would have completed an advanced imaging fellowship and have interest in multi-modality imaging, structural heart disease procedures, clinical education and clinical research.

Highlights

• Provide physician coverage and interpretation of transthoracic and trans-esophageal echocardiograms
• Provide physician coverage and interpretation of cardiac CT
• Provide physician coverage and interpretation of cardiac MRI
• Provide physician supervision for stress laboratory, staffed with physician assistants for nuclear and echocardiographic stress tests
• Provide physician coverage and interpretation of nuclear cardiology scans (if desired)
• Participate in structural heart interventions in our well-established structural program (if desired)
• Supervise and teach general cardiology fellows, advanced imaging fellows, and cardiac sonography students, and other trainees
• Contribute to the academic pursuits of the Wisconsin Cardiovascular service line, including mentoring trainees to abstracts and publications
• Opportunity to be 100% imaging or include clinic and hospital service
• Weekend call rotation is 1:6 which includes full Saturday and Sundays of imaging
• No general cardiology call

Training and/or Experience Required

• Board certified / eligible in general cardiology 
• Board certified / eligible in echocardiography/Level III in Echocardiography 
• Board certified / eligible in cardiac CT/Level II or III in Cardiac CT 
• Board certified / eligible in cardiac MRI /Level II or III in Cardiac CMR
• Board certified/eligible in nuclear cardiology/Level II or III in Nuclear Cardiology 
• Ability to hold a Wisconsin Medical License 
• Completion of advanced imaging fellowship (1-2 years)

Preferred Skills:

• Board certified / eligible in nuclear cardiology and cardiac CT 
• Track record of clinical research in advanced imaging 
  Experience and interest in structural CT

Summary:

The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist will perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures, will provide support for other imaging technologists as needed, and help to facilitate smooth and efficient patient flow. The MRI Technologist will demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts and/or at other campuses as needed or required. The Technologist must be able to troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system. Expectation to participate in ongoing education, safety, and technical advances within their scope of licensure. The incumbent must be able to provide basic MRI screening of patients and employees, prepare maintenance and repairs, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to MRI safety. The Technologist will adhere to, and maintain, the expected imaging competencies as outlined by management. Behavior and communication skills must align with the organization's mission, values, and culture.

Job Requirements:

Education/Skills

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent required

Experience

• 1 year of experience in a hospital or Clinical setting preferred
• Basic computer experience required

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

• Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) from ARRT or ARMRIT is required within 1 year of hire
• State Licensure required if in New Mexico
  • MRT by MIRTP NMED
• BLS required

The Department of Radiology at Mount Sinai West is seeking a fellowship trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Abdominal/Body Imager for a full time position in its Division of Body Imaging in Manhattan and Long Island!

MSW: The Body Imaging section (12 members) is responsible for providing services for inpatient and outpatient practice at several campuses with a broad range of clinical material. Proficiency in all aspects of abdominal imaging including MR, CT, ultrasound and fluoroscopic studies is preferred. Our faculty is dedicated to clinical excellence and the education of a 44 person radiology residency. There are opportunities for research, interdisciplinary conferences, mentorship and personal growth. Overnight attending coverage is provided by a separate, dedicated Emergency Radiology Section.Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The Division of Radiology at Mount Sinai Doctors Long Island is seeking full-time Abdominal/Body Imager. Joining this multi-specialty group with its main site in a state-of-the-art, 80,000 square foot ambulatory facility in Huntington, will allow the physician to flourish within a rapidly growing practice that services a large and diverse patient population in Huntington and other nearby Mount Sinai Doctor sites.

The Department of Radiology at Mount Sinai South Nassau , an extremely high-quality 16-person radiology group in the New York metro region, is expanding. Increasing volumes, both at existing sites and at a new imaging center, have created a need for us to recruit an additional full-time radiologist with subspecialized training in Body Imaging.The ideal candidate will be up to date in all areas of advanced body imaging techniques while still maintaining their interest and skill set in general radiology. Our practice encompasses all sub-specialties, with all radiologists providing general diagnostic coverage on call.
