Conduct thorough assessments in the patient's home using standardized tools to evaluate communication, cognitive-linguistic function, voice, fluency, and swallowing abilities
Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that reflect both short- and long-term patient goals, with attention to the home environment and available resources
Adjust treatment strategies based on patient progress, caregiver input, and observed response to therapy, ensuring goals remain functional and achievable in the home setting
Document all assessments, interventions, patient progress, and caregiver interactions using electronic or paper records in compliance with agency policies and regulatory standards

Job Responsibilities
- Deliver meals to patients using the Room Service program, ensuring accuracy of delivery to the correct patient, room, or nursing unit
- Position meal trays appropriately for patients, such as placing trays on bedside tables for ease of access and comfort
- Measure and record patients' intake when required by physician orders or nursing care protocols, maintaining accurate documentation

- As a Room Service Associate, you'll work in a fast‐paced, dynamic environment that requires physical stamina and attention to safety. The role involves standing and walking for extended periods, often in areas with high foot traffic and limited space. You'll be exposed to varying temperaturesincluding brief periods in extreme heat or coldas you move between kitchen areas, delivery routes, and occasionally to outlying buildings.
- The kitchen environment can be noisy, with occasional wet floors and exposure to sharp tools and equipment such as slicers and grinders. Greater Binghamton Health Center (GBHC), a Joint Commission accredited Office of Mental Health (OMH) facility is recruiting a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for their 13-bed child and adolescent inpatient unit located in Binghamton, New York. This unit provides short term acute psychiatric care to individuals ages 5-17.
Psychiatrists in GBHC’s child and adolescent inpatient unit work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team providing comprehensive, patient-centered, and holistic team-based care to children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbances including:
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments
- Diagnosing, treating, and providing medication management
- Evaluating referrals for admission and coordinating discharges to outpatient programs
- Providing supervision and teaching to Medical, Nurse Practitioner, and Physician Assistant interns and fellows.

UHS is growing and we are seeking a full time Day/Night Rotating Shifts- Physician Assistant (PA) in our Trauma Department to help with our expansion in the Trauma APP services to 24/7. This position will train for approximately six (6) months ? 12 hour shifts- working seven (7) days every two (2) weeks. The position will work at our Wilson Medical Center. We are seeking either experienced or newly graduated PAs, or motivated or experienced critical care or surgical nurse practitioners with RNFA certification candidates in our Trauma Center.
The Trauma Advanced Practice Provider (Trauma APP) coordinates clinical management of trauma patients throughout the continuum of care in collaboration with the attending trauma surgeon. The Trauma APP collaborates with the entire interdisciplinary trauma team ensuring continuity of high-quality care, family support, implementation of best practices and timely provision of clinical services. Minimum requirements: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program; current NYS license; BLS for Healthcare Provider, ACLS and PALS Provider; ATLS certification (within 6 months of hire); Demonstration of clinical decision-making skills. Ability to effectively communicate with medical staff, healthcare clinicians, patients, families and the public; Strong computer skills; Ability to establish priorities and complete activities independently or with limited supervision.
Salary $142,500 - $166,200 Annually Priority Hire Sign On Bonus $5,000.00
