  • Clinic hours 8a-11:20a we can adjust appointment durations to their preference
  • Clinic volume 3 patients/hour
  • Endo support includes 1 RN, 1 CRNA, and 1 Tech
  • We also have a Nurse Practitioner who will provide inpatient consult support Mon - Fri 7a -1p NP will manage initial consults while Physician is in Endo or office
  • Half day of Endo consists of 8 cases per day

Core Responsibilities:

  • Clinic is required so Physician can follow patients that they have seen in the hospital and/or has performed scheduled procedures on.
  • During that week stretch locum will be responsible for covering 24 hour hospital call, performing scheduled procedures in the Endo lab (half day block), answering consults as the arise, and covering 2-3 HALF days of clinic during that week stretch.
  • Procedures required EGD, Colonoscopy, Flex Sig
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures
  • Provide consultative coverage (inpatient and/or outpatient) based on site need
  • Collaborate with anesthesia, nursing, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient patient care
  • Document encounters and procedures accurately and efficiently in the EMR

Provider Requirements:

  • Degree: MD/DO
  • Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology. 
  • License: Current SC license & unrestricted DEA and willing to keep a DEA permanently registered in the state of South Carolina or else privileges will be revoked. Must also have CSR before onboarding and credentialing can begin
