Trusts & Estates Attorney (10+ yrs) – Premier Midsize Law Firm

About the Position:

Our client, a sophisticated Midwest-based law firm, is actively seeking a trusts and estates attorney to join its thriving office in Chicago. This practice handles a range of T&E matters, including charitable planning, family foundation counseling, probate and estate administration, transfer tax planning and audit representation, trust administration, and litigation.

Responsibilities:

· Counsel individuals, families, executives, and business owners on estate planning, trust administration, business succession planning, and probate matters

· Assist clients in developing tax-efficient and cost-effective strategies for wealth transfer among spouses, family members, friends, or in support of charitable organizations

· Prepare estate and gift tax returns

Required Qualifications:

· 8+ years of trust and estates experience

· Strong academic credentials

· Some portable business is preferred but not required

Location:

Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $275,000+.
