Our Infrastructure team is responsible for day to day installation of servers and network equipment, structured cabling, project work and capacity management. This technician will also be involved with installation of structured cabling, management of infrastructure inventory levels, physical installation of network and server racks and/or devices.

This position requires the successful candidate report to a site location. You will work in a dynamic environment to drive the stability and sustainability of our next-generation networks and assist in the development of innovative ways to automate and scale our network. You will launch cutting edge server technologies and solve diverse networking impairments. You will quickly and accurately assess a wide range of infrastructure issues, which requires a good understanding of computers, servers, switches and various networking devices from both a hardware and software perspective and a demonstrated willingness to learn and apply new technology. To be successful in this role you should possess technical aptitude, written and oral communications skills and the ability to deal effectively with people in a wide variety of situations. In addition, you must possess strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability. You will be able to leverage your experience exercising high levels of initiative, judgment, and diplomacy.

Under the direction of the Radiology Supervisor, Lead Technologist, Director of Medical Imaging, and Staff Radiologists, the CT Technologist is responsible to safely and proficiently perform computerized tomography imaging procedures and related patient care according to, government regulations, physician orders, policies and procedures of the Medical Imaging Department, and policies and procedures of the hospital.

  • Reviews and completes appropriate paperwork on every patient as required including exam scheduling, physician orders, department logs, imaging records, consents, medical records, and patient charges.
  • Has a good working knowledge of the Meditech computer system and responsibly completes exam orders, exam completion entries, and exam and supply charging without reminders or supervision.
  • Checks medical record on all inpatients and paperwork on all emergency room patients and outpatients to verify that the correct exam has been ordered.
  • Verifies with the patient their impression of procedure ordered.
  • Checks armband of all inpatients and emergency room patients and verbally questions ALL patients to insure the presence of the correct patient before starting any procedures.
  • Consistently verifies presence of and/or obtains informed consent on all patients who will receive contrast media injections.ย 
  • Completes form and all required documentation of procedure.ย 
  • Obtains Radiologistโ€™s verbal approval and/or signature prior to procedure if any contra-indicators are present.
  • Properly assembles exam films, requisitions, and film file jacket before submission to radiologist for interpretation.
  • Has appropriate information and/or films in hand before consulting a radiologist.
  • Arrives to work on time on a daily basis and immediately begins job responsibilities without waiting for instructions or for others to arrive.
  • Answers department phones promptly and consistently expresses a polite and helpful attitude on the phone.
What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • (ARRT-R) Radiography
  • Associate Degree must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
