Lactalis US Yogurt, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a material handling based in Londonderry.
As a Material Handler, you are a vital part vital part of our team! In this position, you will be responsible for receiving raw materials, supplying production with raw materials, performing cycle counts, maintaining orderly warehouse and operating power industrial equipment (training provided).
From your EXPERTISE to ours
Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Responsible for all aspects of food safety and quality, as applicable and defined in plant and department procedures.
- Stage or deliver raw materials needed for all production lines on a daily basis including cups, lids, fruit, and cardboard.
- Work with other Material Handlers and filler operators to ensure materials needed are staged in a timely fashion.
- Receive in-coming raw materials and supplies.
- Use handheld device receive and transfer inventory items in and out of warehouse stock.
- Facilitate raw material cycle counts and assist in reconciling inventory to aid Procurement in the release of purchase orders.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of all dry goods warehouse.
- Check for shortages and reject damaged goods on incoming freight deliveries.
- Build various raw material orders to be shipped to co-packers.
- Keep recycling area presentable at all times and accurately complete the proper waste tracking forms.
- Unload collected recyclable material into balers and other dedicated recycling bins.
- Maintain records and documents as necessary.
- Receive plant chemicals and transfer them into secondary storage containers.
- Prepare collection bins as needed. Operate the bin washer if necessary.
- Create bales of plastic & cardboard from the vertical balers, and manually bale rebox cardboard.
- Operate power industrial equipment such as forklifts, tuggers, crane, balers, compactor and bin washer in a safe manner at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Yes - you read that right! Our two week rotation in Production allows our team members to have every other Friday, Saturday, Sunday off!
We run 12 hour shifts - Week 1: 48 Hours, Week 2: 36 hours
6:30p - 6:30a

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Material Handler will be responsible for transporting products, packaging, and equipment through facility with the use of material handling equipment. (I.e. pallet jack, forklift) and distributes them within the facility. The Material Handler serves as the SAP subject matter expert in the packaging area on this shift assigned. The Material Handler will partner with support functions to identify and resolve unplanned downtime events, quality, safety, cost, and other losses attributed to the area, using problem solving techniques and a continuous improvement mindset.
Requirements:
- Responsible for incoming and outgoing materials for the areas assigned, ensuring timely and accurate entry into SAP.
- Operates forklift and/or pallet jacks during routine performance of duties.
- Receives, inspects, and stages raw materials, scrap, packaging materials, chemicals, and other supplies into the assigned area, completing SAP entries as necessary.
- Removes finished products from the production areas ensuring proper identification, banding, and labeling to meet customer specifications, completing SAP entries as necessary.
- Stages and loads finished goods and materials in accordance with warehouse and production planning schedule.
- Coordinates all processed scrap materials at bins and hoppers. Bands and stores materials. Loads trucks as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (HSED or GED) required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of working experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Requires computer skills with basic knowledge of Microsoft programs such as: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. SAP a plus.
- Requires basic mathematical skills to be able to add, subtract, multiply, divide, work with percentages, and have basic knowledge of algebra as well as make fine adjustments in equipment settings.
- Must be able to operate electric or manual pallet jacks and forklift.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must be flexible with work scheduling as well as overtime.
- Previous experience working in a food manufacturing plant preferred.
- Requires teamwork ability; works well with others and communicates effectively with all associates.

- Load and unloads materials onto pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand
- May load materials into trucks and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit, using hand tools

Title: Raw Material Inspector

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform physical, visual, and analytical inspection/sampling of incoming raw materials and packaging components in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and sampling plans.

Job Summary:
The Data Center Material Logistics Manager is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain and material flow for the project site. You will design and implement the logistics plan that ensures all materials—from bulk commodities to specialized equipment—are procured, received, tracked, and staged to meet aggressive construction schedules. - Execute MRP runs in the ERP system based on the Master Production Schedule (MPS), customer orders, BOMs, inventory data, and production forecasts to calculate net material requirements and generate accurate purchase requisitions and production orders.
- Plan and allocate demand for critical PV raw materials (e.g., wafers/cells, glass, backsheets, encapsulants, aluminum frames, solder ribbons), accounting for specifications such as grade, color, bin, and efficiency to minimize production changeover losses.
- Monitor supplier delivery performance, maintain daily/weekly shortage reports and incoming material schedules; proactively resolve delays, quality issues, or supply disruptions to achieve Just-In-Time (JIT) or Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) delivery.
- Manage inventory parameters (safety stock, min/max levels, reorder points); track inventory turnover, identify slow-moving/obsolete risks, and recommend action plans (e.g., consumption, downgrade use, resale, or disposal) to minimize working capital and avoid stockouts.
- Prepare and present regular reports on material shortages, on-time delivery rates, inventory analysis, and supply risks; contribute material insights to cross-functional S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Quality Assurance, Warehouse, and Production teams on returns, corrective actions, quantity variances, and supplier performance evaluations.
- Assist in supplier development, cost reduction projects, and supply chain risk mitigation to support Hounen Solar's commitment to high-quality, cost-competitive, and domestically-focused manufacturing.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Associate's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in material planning, MRP execution, or procurement follow-up in a manufacturing environment;
- Experience in the solar/PV, electronics, semiconductor, or battery industry is highly preferred (familiarity with PV materials such as silicon wafers/cells, glass, EVA/POE, frames is a strong advantage);
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, or similar) with deep knowledge of MRP logic and modules;
- Solid understanding of MRP principles (gross/net requirements, lead times, safety stock, yield/loss factors, lot sizing);
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis); experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is a plus;
- Familiarity with APS, MES, or advanced planning tools is advantageous.
Language Requirements:
- Bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) is required. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively with international suppliers, read technical specifications/documents in both languages, and handle supplier correspondence in Mandarin when necessary.

The Production Planner is the starting point for all materials and production planning activities. This role is responsible for managing customer demand, driving requisitions for buyers, and ensuring the production floor has the materials needed to meet schedule requirements. The planner serves as the primary point of contact between Jabil and the customer’s materials leadership, requiring strong communication and collaboration skills.
This position is approximately 60% desk-based planning and 40% floor-based coordination, requiring comfort working directly with materials technicians and production supervisors.
What can you expect to do?
- Serve as the customer-facing liaison for demand planning and shipment coordination.
- Manage demand signals and translate them into actionable requisitions for the purchasing team.
- Use and navigate three planning systems: SAP, PRISM, and Asprova.
- Collaborate with the production floor team to ensure timely material availability, understand shortages, and track material arrival dates.
- Work directly on the production floor with materials technicians and their supervisors to resolve issues and maintain schedule integrity.
- Maintain and analyze Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
- Monitor and present planning metrics to Business Units (BU) and drive continuous improvement.
- Re-evaluate min/max levels for bulk materials to optimize inventory and production flow.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with buyers, production teams, and customer contacts to ensure alignment and responsiveness.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including security and operational standards.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What is the experience needed to be successful in this role?
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Thorough knowledge of ERP/MRP systems; experience with SAP, PRISM, and Asprova preferred.
- 2+ years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with metal commodities such as copper, steel, and hardware is preferred.
- Advanced PC skills including Microsoft Office; intermediate Excel skills required.
- Strong understanding of BOMs and ECNs in a high-volume, multi-part environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially in customer-facing scenarios.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and solve problems involving multiple variables.
