Job Description
Chamberlain College of Nursing seeks Part-Time Clinical Nursing Faculty interested in teaching with our BSN Nursing program.
You will be mentoring students in person at an inpatient clinical setting located in the Anchorage, Alaska area. You'll be making connections between what our students are learning in the classroom and during simulations, with the real-world applications in patient care they are experiencing on-site. By bridging this gap, we can ensure that our students are not only well-prepared for their roles as healthcare professionals but also confident in their abilities to provide high-quality care to their patients.
No teaching experience is required, nurses with solid clinical experience and a completed MSN are encouraged to apply!
Scheduling:
- Schedule is determined based on the course need and the clinical specialty for each 8-week session
- Typically, clinical instructors are scheduled for 3-4 consecutive 12-hour shifts, which occur over a period of 1-2 weeks each session

Responsibilities:
- Teaching and Curriculum Implementation
- Implement the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service.
- Assume responsibility for all autonomous aspects of individual teaching loads.
- Plan clinical experiences and provide direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students.
- Student Evaluation and Support
- Develop and post written clinical assignments consistent with student's knowledge base, skill competency and individual learning needs.
- Evaluate and provide documented feedback on performance to students based on course objectives.
- Be available for remediation of students as required or needed.
- Correct and return homework, quizzes, tests, lab assignments, clinical paperwork, and other written work in a timely manner.
- Clinical Coordination
- Orient and maintain current knowledge related to clinical site policies, procedures, and expectations with the assistance of the clinical site personnel.
- Develop and post written clinical assignments consistent with students' knowledge base, skill competency, and individual learning needs.

- Professionalism and Collaboration
- Serve as a professional role model for other faculty, staff, and students.
- Utilize relationship skills in situations requiring group problem solving, consensus building, and win-win negotiation.
- Work with college administration, staff, and other faculty members to improve the overall operation of the college and student satisfaction rates.
- Regulatory Compliance and Reporting
- Comply with all applicable regulatory rules and standards.
- Keep the course coordinator informed of all student and agency issues and concerns.
- Report to the dean or assistant dean, with direct oversight from a course coordinator.
- Handle related duties and perform other duties as assigned, comply with all policies and standards.
Qualifications
- A master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university
- An unencumbered professional RN nursing license in Alaska
- Illinois RN License will be required to teach all courses (course assignments prioritized to professors who are currently licensed in Illinois)
- Active BLS certification (American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network)
- At least two years professional experience within last five years in the area of instruction as a registered nurse

Additional Information
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected compensation rate for this position is between $1,120 per assignment to $7,245 per assignment.

Job Overview
As a Clerical colleague in the Fine Jewelry Department, you are responsible for processing new merchandise and maintaining all the records for the department. What You Will Do
- Acknowledge customers in a friendly and helpful manner

- Merchandise jewelry cases for new products , season changes, special events and clearance sales.

- Perform all aspects of the fulfillment process, including picking, packing, labeling, shipping and Buy Online, Pickup in Stores (BOPS)

The Department of Public Safety protects and serves the Creighton community through proactive patrolling, rapid response, community outreach, security technology, and safe parking and transportation options. We seek to ensure that all members of our community can live, learn, work, and play in a safe and secure environment. Our team includes 3 shift managers, 3 lead officers, 3 senior officers, 15 officers, 3 full-time dispatchers, and 3 part-time dispatchers. Public Safety has primary responsibility for security enforcement, emergency management, campus safety, and parking enforcement on Creighton University's Omaha Campus.
The Public Safety Dispatcher manages a communications center to enable the protection of Creighton University's Omaha Campus, including people, facilities, and property. A successful dispatcher candidate will demonstrate absolute integrity, a willingness to relate to all members of the Creighton community, a desire to help others, and the ability to exercise good judgment under pressure. Public Safety dispatchers receive calls for assistance and information and dispatch Public Safety officers to emergency and non-emergency calls for services, including safety and security incidents, medical aid, and fire alarms. Dispatchers monitor and operate multiple video surveillance, access control, and alarm systems. Dispatchers also track calls and activities and maintain a log of incidents occurring during their assigned shifts. Due to the nature of the role, the ability to multitask is crucial. The dispatcher position is a lifeline position to callers and officers. The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley is generating a new applicant pool of qualified temporary instructors and invites applications for a lecturer position to teach courses in our department in the areas of Energy, Civil Infrastructure and Climate; Constructions Systems; Environmental Engineering; GeoSystems Engineering; Structural Engineering, Mechanics and Materials; Systems (Civil Systems); and Transportation Engineering.

The Alvin J. Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine is an international leader in cancer treatment, research, prevention, education and community outreach. Division 11800 is a 32-bed single occupancy unit that provides care to oncology patients who are hospitalized for cancer treatment and symptom management, including support for immunosuppression and/or neutropenia. The care is moderate to high acuity. Care includes high complexity interventions serving patients on both the Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and Oncology services. The presence of two services provides broad oncology experiences for the nurse. Care is coordinated by a multidisciplinary team including oncology nurses, advanced practice nurses, case managers, coordinators, social workers, spiritual care, pharmacy and psycho-social support.
