POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Formal Education / Training
Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology and subsequent Accreditation through The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Must be in compliance with CE Requirements.
BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
Workplace Experience
Preference of one year work experience in hospital after graduation and accreditation; however, willing to train.
Equipment and Skills Training
Possesses general knowledge of many types of x-ray equipment and computers. Will train on specific equipment and processes utilized at Williamson Health.In addition, has had previous training in fluoroscopy, surgery, and routine studies and willing to perform those functions daily.

Radiation safety and universal precautions practiced in a multi modality imaging department.

- Strives to maintain the dignity of each patient by ensuring the patient is properly covered at all times; during exam and patient transport.
- Seeks opportunities to assist in other areas during downtime periods and always makes good use of time.
- Checks often on patients waiting in hallways to ensure that the patient is covered and comfortable (Pain Management).
- Shows leadership and teamwork in difficult situations and makes appropriate decisions.
- Volunteers for overtime and fill-in when needed.
- Ensures the safety of patients by following all safety procedures while moving patients from wheelchair or stretcher to table and observing patient while on radiology table.
- Performs high quality studies consistently.

Your Job:In this highly technical allied imaging professional position, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide the very best imaging services, which include ultrasound, CT scan, PET scan, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. The primary purpose of the Radiologic Technologist position is to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging services. In addition, he/she performs specialized imaging techniques when fluoroscopic guidance is requested and assists the Radiologist when appropriate.
